TUGS and Theodore Tugboat roles available for Islandside Adventures 2.0

Lillie Lightship is a special and much-loved lightship that was once stationed at Dem Der Rocks near Bigg City Port. Now she works on Crotoonia, helping to keep various coves and dangerous places along the coastline safe while the assigned lightships, light barges, or lighthouses are under repair. Scuttlebutt Pete is a faceless dredger from Bigg City Port. He helps dredge out areas near the docks and some areas along canals and waterways to make them deep enough for boats and ships to either dock or pass through so they don't get stuck. He's also a notorious gossip - hence his name. He highly enjoys voicing superstitions, especially when there is fog around. His voice should sound like Nigel Anthony.

Sigrid is a supply ship who delivers supplies along the Crotoonian Coastline and out to the oil rigs Owan and Tex. Sigrid is very kind, polite, and eager-to-please, and often acts a sisterly figure, particularly toward Emily The Vigorous and Dorothy. She has a good sense of humour and loves to race, but can also be somewhat timid. She should have either a North American or Canadian accent.

Digby is an old cable ship from the show Theodore Tugboat who is always getting stuck somewhere out on the job. It's always a surprise to him and the tugs when someone gets stuck other than himself. He has a Newfoundland accent, and uses catchphrases such as "Oh flibberty jibberty!" and "Oh my starfish and little oysters" (like Owan). His best friend is Theodore (he pronounces his name as "T'eodore", due to his thick accent), who always comes to rescue Digby whenever he gets stuck. He loves to say whatever is on his mind and especially enjoys talking about cables. The tugs once thought of Digby as old and useless compared to other cable ships. But even though Digby is always getting stuck somewhere, he always shows that he is still a useful cable ship in the end. He is a kind, tough cable ship used for smaller jobs that with which his cables are best suited for, and makes short work of any task he is given. He has a Newfoundland accent.

Nautilus is a Navy Ship who used to live at The Big Harbour up the cost. He has the number 114 on his sides. Nowadays, he helps run the Crotoonian Naval Base pass Gridinia Bay Harbour on the southside of the island, alongside Bluenose The Naval Tug. Besides being one of the sleekest and fastest boats on the Crotoonian Coastline, Nautilus also has a big heart and always comes to the aid of any boat.  He should have either a North American or Canadian accent.

Brunswick is a barge that always looks for thrills and chills. He is good friends with Bayswater and they are usually looked after by Theodore. He usually works alongside Bayswater Barge, but once got into an argument with him. He should have either a North American or Canadian accent.

Pugwash is a mini sub that often travels with Stewiacke all over the world. Pugwash dreams of being a brave explorer and photographing the ocean's depths herself, but now has to overcome her fears of foghorns and lighthouses. She also loves to wander off and explore things. She is also a busy, bustling little mini-sub, who enjoys hard work and hardly grumbles. Although susceptible (or suggestible) at times, she’s a kind mini-sub and always proves her worth by being a happy little worker. She should have either a Canadian or American accent.

Lucy is another harbour tug just like Theodore. She is one of the smaller tugs who wears a purple coloured summer hat. She is one of the harbour tugs. She is a kind tug who likes going on adventures. Her accent should  either be North American or Canadian

Big Mac is one of the strongest harbour tugs from Bigg City Port. Big Mac can come across as a rude and stubborn tug, but he has a heart of gold, despite his tendencies to be gruff at times. He is very much willing to set aside his own safety for the sake of others, and usually remains level-headed when undergoing a strategy. Big Mac works mainly with his brother Warrior, and the two tugs have an extremely close friendship. Even though Warrior's clumsiness and thick head occasionally frustrate him, he still respects and cares for him. He also stands up for Warrior if anyone makes fun of him.
He is the second strongest tug of the fleet and despite his sometimes abrasive manners, he can be kind and gentle. He is always willing to help out someone in trouble, and uses his great strength to help whenever he can. He also has a strong protective streak for the Star switchers.

O.J. (Old Jones) is a paddle-powered tug from Bigg City Port. O.J. can be described as slow, but versatile and his weakness and age has often placed him on the receiving end of jokes and insults from all tugs, however he's the Star Fleet's 'wise elder' because he has extensive knowledge and experience of harbour life and manoeuvres, and because of this, he is often trusted with being in charge of large operations, such as ocean liner docking. On various occasions, O.J. has demonstrated his ability to devise swift and clever strategies to help himself and his fellow Stars out of predicaments. He does not stand for nonsense, and is quick to correct the younger tugs if they make mistakes. Despite his occasionally harsh approach, O.J. cares for his brothers as a grandparent would for their grandchildren.

Top Hat is a snobbish railway tug from Bigg City Port. Top Hat is the Crotoonian Northern Coast Tugboat Co.'s railway tug, equipped with a tall wheelhouse to overlook the tall loads, freight cars and carriages he delivers via Frank And Eddie. Top Hat, as his name and wheelhouse might suggest, is rather uppity and looks down at the other tugs. He thinks he's far too important to do menial and dirty work like pulling garbage barges and sometimes watches only for himself. Despite his high and mighty attitude, Top Hat will work fast in an emergency and is a loyal friend when it matters most.

Warrior is a strong, but sometimes accident-prone, Star tug from Bigg City Port. Warrior is the scatterbrain of sorts of the Star Fleet. He has gained a reputation of being clumsy when pulling barges. He can be responsible for causing several disasters when doing his job and he can be quite naive, not really knowing too much. However, he also has a heart as big as his anyone elses in the fleet and he is relied on for his strength and willingness to help. He gets along well with his friends Big Mac, Ten Cents and Hank and he works for the Municiple Garbage Corperation of Crotoonia where he gets along very well with Whiff, Scruff and Mr. Messy in spite of the dirt and smell. He usually works alongside Lord Stinker when out collecting garbage.

Hercules is the Star Fleet's sixth, largest and strongest vessel. He is often used for large-scale operations and important contracts. During periods of bad weather, he is out at sea answering distress calls, and is often sent out to escort large vessels into the port. He is often considered to be one of the fleet's main leaders, and is often placed in charge of large operations.
Character-wise, Hercules is a cool-headed fighter. He speaks with a clear, soft tone and a politically correct British accent, but his words are often hard. Although he can be strict and serious with his comrades, he also displays a gentler side and a sense of humor on occasion. Nothing can break him and not even the antics of the Z-Stacks and Bluenose can set him back. He is held in high regard by most of the tugs in the harbour, and even Zorran knows that he cannot win a confrontation with Hercules. He is not as seen as often as the other Star Tugs, mainly due to him being on his own missions. Hercules is famously known for referring to his colleagues as "m'dears", "old darlings", and "sweetheart". He is the only Tugs character to have sideburns, and one of the few to have hair underneath his hat for that matter. He is recognized for his "discreet" relationship with Lillie Lightship, and his "lady's man" persona.

Sunshine is one of the smallest members of the Star fleet from Bigg City Port. Sunshine is quick-witted and takes action swiftly without hesitation. He is generally level-headed and cheerful, and takes on most jobs with little complaining. Sunshine is a quick thinker and usually works with his best friend, Ten Cents. They have shared many adventures, almost to the extent that it is impossible to imagine one without the other. Sunshine speaks with a rather soft Newcastle (or Geordie) accent and whistles most of the time when he says a word with s on it, because he is missing some of his front teeth.

Grampus is a submarine from Bigg City Port, and the Star Fleet's very own submarine. He is also a grandfatherly figure to all, and mostly works in Celgreb Bay Harbour.

Theodore is a very friendly harbour tug working in Celgreb Bay Harbour. With Hank,, Ten Cents and Sunshine by his side, he helps to keep things running smoothly along the dockside, bringing in ships and carrying out barges wherever they need to go. No matter what goes on, he just likes to do the things that friendly tugboats do.

North American or Canadian accent is required

Hank is the "class clown" of the Celgreb Bay Harbour team. A little bit goofy, a little bit loud, and a little bit silly! Though he's not always fun and games. Alongside Sunshine, he's one of the smaller tugs on the team, making him feel a bit small compared to the rest of the team. He's a tad more sensitive compared to the other tugs, and feels very hurt when he does something wrong. But whenever he's down in the dumps, he always turns to his friends for help, and does prove to be a very helpful tug.

North American or Canadian accent is required

Emily the Vigorous is an ocean going tug who loves to be admired and hates to look silly in front of her friends, because they always have high expectations for her and look up to her as a leader. But she always comes to find that her friends are there to help her, even if she doesn't ask for their help. She usually gets into arguments with George, but they always resolve their disagreements. But no matter how upset Emily gets, she always shows her kind spirits and female strength. She is friends with Theodore, Hank and Hercules.

North American or Canadian accent is required

Foduck the Vigilant is a very serious tugboat in manner. This is because he takes great pride in being the head tugboat in the Crotoonian Fire and Rescue Squad. Though he has a V word (meaning he can do jobs on the ocean like Emily and George) he is content with staying in the harbour to protect it from harm. Foduck is a secretive sort of tug, not being too expressive around others but deep down he can't help but express some real affection to the other boats in the harbour.

North American or Canadian accent is required

George the Valiant is a big brother figure to the other tugs and loves to show off and can sometimes be a little rude without knowing it. He especially loves to tell stories to the other tugs, mostly about himself, and starts to sulk when attention shifts away from him. He also loves to blow up a lot of smoke from his smokestack and make a lot of loud noises revving his powerful twin engines. But most of all, George is a hard worker and never finishes a job until it's done, and always stands up for his friends. George and Emily often get into fights, but in the end, they always make up.

North American or Canadian accent is required

Zorran is regarded as the cunning leader of the Z-Stacks and is the number 1 tug of the fleet. He is renowned for his deviousness and scheming prowess. He, alongside Star Fleet rivals O.J., Big Mac, Warrior, and his Z-Stack companions Zak and Zebedee, is a harbour tug. Zorran speaks with an East Sussex accent.

Zebedee, nicknamed Zeb or Zebby, is a conflicted member of the Z-Stacks. He is the second member of the fleet and Zorran's right hand tug. Despite working for the Z-Stacks, there is little malice in him compared to his colleagues. He speaks with a Liverpudlian accent. He is usually seen working with Zak.

Zak is the third member of the Z-Stacks fleet. He is used for a wide variety of tasks around Gridinia Bay Harbour. Zak's main role was that of a flunky and second-man to devious Zorran, and is generally a vicious, calculating thug. He is usually seen working with Zebedee. Zak speaks with a gruff Cockney accent.

Zug is an ambitious, young tug who is the Z-Stacks' fourth tug, and one of the same fleet's switchers. He is usually seen working with Zip, He is used for a wide variety of tasks around Celgreb Bay Harbour. He speaks with an Estonian accent.

Zip is the Z-Stacks' second switcher, the fifth tug, and the youngest member of the fleet. He mostly works with Zug and together they are often used to win minor/smaller contracts (such as the freighting of quarried boulders) and other such duties. He speaks with a neutral English accent.

Oliver the Vast is the Z-Stacks's ocean going tugboat with a blue cap. He has a nasal tone of voice like Devious Diesel. Oliver has a reputation for being a big bully. His top three enemies are Theodore, George, and Owan.

North American or Canadian accent is required

Cabot is a rather scruffy and rough ship with no self control, who did not care about safety until Theodore helped him. He often does the opposite of what everyone tells him. Like several other visiting ships to the Big Harbour, Cabot proved no exception to the rule of being rude and rather above his dock! However, like all of his kind, he got his just desserts when he dropped his cargo overboard which Theodore had to rescue, and ended up getting stuck on the Sandy Beach! To prevent any further mishaps, Theodore towed the reckless ship backwards. Nowadays, he’s much more well behaved.

Canso Colossus is referred to as "the king of all supertankers", who talks with a very squeaky voice. Canso's biggest pet peeve seems to be "yucky stuff".

Caroquette is a container ship. Caroquette can be really sensible like many other ships. She can sometimes be offended if anyone does not give her a good welcome or saying that she's late coming into the harbour. Caroquette also has a Southern accent.

Catherine is a big container ship. She sometimes carries twice the normal load, which can sometimes make things difficult for tugboats to bring her in.

Chester is a container ship that wanted to have flags when the tugs were having their flag day.

Clare is a giant container ship that is loaded with special cargo such as bicycles.

Clementine is a big container ship. She can also be very assertive when it comes to delivering containers and sometimes gets upset if anything ever happens to them.

Cocomagh is a gigantic container ship who’s sometimes shy.

Colchester is a big, bold green-hulled container ship from the United States of America, and is easily one of the biggest ships ever to tread water in any of the harbours on the Crotoonian Coastline.

Cumberland is a big container ship with port thrusters, which help him dock himself without any need of tugboats.

Dartmouth is a giant cable ship who roams the oceans for months at a time. He sometimes comes to Crotoonia to lay cables along the coastline and in harbours and marinas.
