Project Overview

Travelers Tales is a four part short story audio drama about a small band of knights that have gathered together once more to fight what are seemingly impossible odds and still standing with one another regardless of that. it's a story about comradery and little moments that bring light into their lives right before and after going into a major conflict. It's the first tale of many as this will be an anthology project that takes place within an Medieval/Fantasy Era.

Somethings to note

  • This is my first attempt at trying something like this so I do hope we get along and please bear with me in terms of asking any sort of like complicated questions if you have them.

  • This project is being paid out of pocket and though I truly wish i could cough up more this is the best i can do.

  • There aren't any sort of NDAs so feel free to talk about to whomever you'd like :)

  • Please do your best to communicate with me if you have any questions, comments or concerns and I'll do my best to respond

  • Please keep any audio distortion or background noise to a minimum as much as possible, it won't bother me so much if there's a little here and there cause it just happens.

  • This will be posted to a brand new Youtube channel and Spotify as the starting point for hopefully long series and if you have a preference to how you're credited please let me know when you are casted

  • in terms of how payment is made I can do Paypal, Zelle, Cashapp, and Venmo. if you have any other type of payment method you prefer i will do my best to accommodate

  • UPDATE 3: Concluding

    We have come close to the end of casting for our main cast of characters. it's been so hard deciding from over 100 plus individual auditions with a minimum of 2.5 auditions per person. each and every one of ya'll has brought something so unique to these roles you tried your hardest going for, and for that I am grateful to you all.

    With that being said, I've realized that I do in fact need some additional voices and so I may reach out to more people for not the role they may have audition for but smaller ones that help bring the surrounding world alive. unfortunately they are not paid roles due to my lack of budget so I hope that those I do reach out to are up for it and I do of course understand if not.
    Thank you all for your time, effort, and short dedication here, it's been nothing but a positive experience and I hope to build more upon the stories i create for more roles to come. best wishes ~Thomas

  • UPDATE 2: Decisions, Decisions

    HELLO AGAIN! This is my second update on the project and i've finally looked over just about every single audition and it defiantly hasn't been easy to decide who gets what part. The vast majority of you really put in 110% and I am grateful for that. Starting from today to next week I will be coming down to my final decisions on casting for the project. Some parts will get casted faster than others because of just how well their voice fit the role while other roles will be harder cause of the competition and talent each and everyone put up. you've all been fantastic and I can't wait to work with those that I do cast. As for those I don't get the part they audition for, there may be a secondary opportunity in the form of minor roles. so stay tuned!

  • Update 1

    Hello everyone! I just wanted to say I am absolutely blown away by the amount of people that have submitted and are interested in this project! I wasnt sure how the turn out would be at first but this was beyond my expectations. I'm now looking over the current auditions that have been sent in and I am amazed at all the talent and effort each and everyone one of you have put in. Within the coming days or week I may send some messages to some of you for either a 2nd audition or to discuss the role you are selected for. Best wishes to you all and have a good day.

Davrin is one of two squires belonging to Oswald. He's older than Aldus, and is more hot headed and cocky due to his ability to ease through many trails, and with the constant need to prove himself there's nothing he wouldn't do to achieve his goals. Oswald always tries to keep him straight and ensures that he follows the fundamentals of proper etiquette. and though he always give Aldus a hard time, he does what he can to make up for what Aldus can't even though he wouldn't admit that.

Thomasin considers Oz as his younger brother and only hopes that he can live a peaceful and content life after everything they've been through.
