Transportation Station - Job at the Junction (CLOSED)
Project Overview
About the project:
"Job at the Junction" will be the pilot episode for an animated cartoon series I'm working on called "Transportation Station". It follows the adventures of Bugs and G as they work at the Station as the engineer and train conductor of the Terror Train. The cast will consist of many other characters as well; each working in different departments of the Station. Several of them have already been cast. However, there are a few who still need voices!
My goal is to have this animation complete by the end of August. I'm a bit over half way finished with the animating portion and will be shifting to the voicing and editing process within a few months. Once it is finished it will published to my YouTube channel.

Dorian is the taxi driver at the Transportation Station and older brother to the lead, Vinny Roberts. He is a very laid-back guy with a profound love of Italian food. He speaks with a very thick, slightly exaggerated Boston accent and generally calm tone of voice.
Oh. Hey Vinny. What are you doing here? No, no wait. Don’t tell me. Gramma came over with donuts and told ya to get off ya lazy keester and get a job.
Eh, I can’t complain. It pays rent easy and I always got a little somethin’ left over for Saturday night bingo.
Alright, Vin. You’re my brother, so Imma be real honest with ya. To be a taxicab driver, you need an actual license.
Raised in Scotland by his grandparents, Bernard is a level-headed father, husband and co-pilot at the Transportation Station. He speaks with a heavy Scottish accent and is a fairly pleasant, easy-going type of guy. Would love to have a native Scottish voice actor, but a solid imitation would also be great!
Bernice, I can’t find my sunglasses. Did you… like, take them or something?
Yer joking. Wee Vinny came to see us?! Why, that’s great! Well, well, not so wee anymore, are we boyo? ‘Fit a bonnie haddock, you turned out to be.
Well, why don’t you go ahead and give us yer phone number then?
Ernest is the sarcastic and snappy receptionist at the Transportation Station. He is also Bernard's brother. He can usually be found chatting with his husband on the phone when he really should be working. He also owns a cat, Bijou whom he is very proud of. He is quite posh and somewhat indifferent to the concerns of others. He speaks with an English accent. Again a native speaker would be appriciated, but a solid imitation would also be great!
(on the phone) Transportation Station, how may I be of service? Humphrey, you can’t keep calling the help desk. We have to keep this line open for people who actually need help!
Good afternoon, sir. How may I help you?
(talking to Vinny) My, my, look at you know. You’re all grown up. …And out as well. Hahaha! Oh, I’m sorry.
