Transportation Station - Episode 3 (CLOSED)
Project Overview
About the project:
Hello! I am looking for actors to voice two new reoccurring secondary characters on my original cartoon series, "Transportation Station". They will both be making their debuts in Episode 3 of the series. Episode 1 (Job at the Junction) is already available on YouTube and episode 2 (LoveBugs) will be releasing on 14 February, 2022! I will link the first episode along with a sneak peek of the second for reference as to what to expect in Episode 3, and also to get to know the other characters in the show!
My goal is to have Episode 3 complete by the end of Spring. I am currently finishing up Episode 2 and right after it's finished, I plan to start on the animation for Episode 3! However, I will be sending out scripts to record lines a couple weeks before, so I have a reference to go on whilst animating the characters. Once it is in production, I will give regular updates in the Hooting Pictures Discord server on how the progress is going! I always make sure to keep every actor in the know!

What you will need:
- A Discord account! Please leave it in your audition description.
- A good microphone and a quiet place with no background noise to record in.
- Acting skills! We want to bring life to these characters :)
- A cooperative attitude and dedication to the project! Please make sure you're able to get your lines recorded and sent in a timely manner. I will provide deadlines.
- Must be able to send audio files as MP3.
About the series:
"Transportation Station" is an animated cartoon which follows the adventures of Bugs and G as they work at the Station as the engineer and train conductor of the Terror Train.

François is the flight instructor at a local flight school in Duplicity. His job is to teach devil dragons and other winged nightmares to fly. His character is new, so I am flexible with the accent and interpretation! What we are really looking for is a unique voice. François often uses American slang words such as, "cool, dude, bro, totally, stoked, etc...". He is very agreeable and easy-going with everyone, he rarely gets angry.

Shigeko is the Japanese catgirl wife of Bernard Papadopoulos and mother of their eleven-year-old daughter, Ichika. Standing at a staggering three feet tall, Shigeko overall is very daring and adventurous (very much unlike her husband). She is always trying out a new sports craze or new job opportunities. I plan to use her in future episodes as that one character that somehow works at every establishment in the city. She was born and raised in Japan but has spoken English for over 20 years.
Oh! Hello Ernest! So, my brother-in-law is finally taking the plunge! Haha, no pun intended. Bernard will be so excited! You could fly beside the plane!
Oh no. I don’t teach. I leave all the teaching to my burly assistant François.
