Where he was watching two grunts execute a wounded Autobot and his medical officer. He couldn't bring himself to do it. Later he stormed the Autobot ship with Megatron's team. He got taken hostage willingly, eventually joining the Autobot ranks as Drift, becoming a well respected Autobot and known for love for sword and Japan.

As the Autobots advance to Earth, they followed trying to save the galaxy from the tyranny. Megatron holds so much wisdom and gravitas. But also has a hard spot, thinking he failed Cybertron as he watched it collapse around him.
