This universe Optimus has a dark past. Being captured towards the beginning of the fall of Cybertron his Megatron did not stop until every single Autobot was dead, crushing the spirit of Optimus, it made him mad and that once caring and 'chance given' Optimus Prime was broken, happy to kill any Decepticon in his way, until he finds peace.
