Role assigned to: Vocal Energy over 9,000!

Woody is a vintage cowboy doll that serves as the leader of Andy's toys, a position he upheld by looking out for each member of the group. Woody is a loyal toy who has been Andy's favorite toy since kindergarten. Woody is a smart, determined, and passionate man, and would do anything for his nearest and dearest friends. He considers his friends as family and he tries his best to keep them together at all times. Yet, he is a flawed character. He has a lot of doubt, anger, frustration, uncertainty, and sadness, almost like a human. But despite his jumbled emotions, he tries his very best not to show them to his friends, so he can seem courageous, but he's not afraid to confront or comfort his friends with utmost care.

  • [Encouraging his friends after thinking they're gonna be replaced]
Hey, listen, no one's getting replaced. This is Andy we're talking about. It doesn't matter how much we're played with. What matters is that we're here for Andy when he needs us. That's what we're made for, right?

  • [Blowing up at Buzz after hearing his insane spiel about Zurg and Star Command]
YOU... ARE... A... TOY!!! You aren't the real Buzz Lightyear! You're a-- Aw, you're an action figure! You are a child's plaything!

  • [To Buzz about why Andy would want him, Starts off excited then fades into depressed]

Why would Andy want you?! Look at you! You're a Buzz Lightyear. Any other toy would give up his moving parts just to be you. You've got wings, you glow in the dark, you talk, your helmet does that -- that whoosh thing -- you are a COOL toy. (depressed) As a matter of fact, you're too cool. I mean -- I mean what chance does a toy like me have against a Buzz Lightyear action figure? All I can do is... (Pulls his string)

Voice Box: There's a snake in my boot.

Why would Andy ever want to play with me, when he's got you? I'm the one that should be strapped to that rocket.

Role assigned to: Vocal Energy over 9,000!

Buzz, like many characters, is a complicated one, who feels genuine emotions such as pride, anger, depression, and sadness, much like a regular human. These are traits that he shares with his best friend, Woody, however, one could say that Buzz is better at keeping his emotions in check than the cowboy. Buzz is known for his bravery and courage with a by-the-book mindset, believing the way people should live their life by following the rules. There are rare moments when he will bend the rules or tell a cover story if needed when he knows it is the right thing to do. Though possessing great leadership qualities, one of Buzz's most prominent character flaws at times is that he can be rather unemotional. Buzz can come off as being charismatic and charming, most of Andy's toys completely adored him just after he was unwrapped. Even, Andy, whose favorite toy was Sheriff Woody and was completely obsessed with cowboys since kindergarten, went head over heels for Buzz who instantly became his other favorite toy. Buzz also possessed something of a vengeful side, such as attacking Woody when he tried to "terminate" him. However, his personality changed completely, especially after discovering the truth about himself. At first, he went into a state of manic depression. But after being given a motivational speech by a captive Woody, he begins to understand his role as a toy; to bring happiness and joy to its owner. After this, Buzz learns much more about honor, friendship, bravery, and selflessness.

  • [Explaining to Woody about his mission to save the universe]
Right now, poised at the edge of the galaxy, Emperor Zurg has been secretly building a weapon with the destructive capacity to annihilate an entire planet! I alone have information that reveals his weapon's only weakness. And you, my friend, are responsible for delaying my rendezvous with Star Command!

  • [Depressed upon reflecting he's a toy]
No, Woody, for the first time I am thinking clearly. You were right all along. I'm not a Space Ranger. I'm just a toy. A stupid little insignificant toy.

  • [Saying his catchphrase]
    To infinity and beyond!

Mr. Potato Head

Role assigned to: Mars Mentality

Mr. Potato Head is a rather cynical Mr. Potato Head doll, of the common design of Playskool. Andy often casts him as a villain in his games, which seems to be the reason for his cynical and irritable behavior. Even though he is sarcastic, cynical, rude, and has an acerbic point of view, he has a good heart deep down, he loves his wife Mrs. Potato Head, and is prepared to go to limitless lengths to save his friends. Despite his grumpy behavior, Mr. Potato Head can sometimes be fun-loving with a genuine sense of humor.

  • [Annoyed from dealing with Molly]
Ages 3 and up. It's on my box. Ages 3 and up. I'm not supposed to be babysitting Princess Drool.

  • [Hopeful for a Mrs. Potato Head Doll]
Mrs. Potato Head! Mrs. Potato Head! Mrs. Potato Head! (Pause) Hey, I can dream, can't I?

  • [Accusing Woody of killing Buzz]
That's Mr. Potato Head to you, you back-stabbing murderer!

Role assigned to: Darthsven16

Slinky Dog is a wooden toy dachshund who speaks with a graveled Southern accent. Slinky acts very much so like an actual dog. He is nice, playful, likes to be petted, growls or barks at something he doesn't like, hides when afraid, and is very loyal to Woody, who is shown to reciprocate his feelings and is often seen petting him, comforting him, and playing checkers with him. This sometimes leads to him looking like a kiss-up toward Woody. Due to his older-looking appearance, he is seen to be very relaxed and calm.

  • [To Mr. Potato Head, Defending Woody]
Hey, hey. Come on, Potato Head. If Woody says it's all right then, well, darn it, it's good enough for me. Woody has never steered us wrong before.

  • [To Woody, Optimistic about his leadership]
I knew you were right all along, Woody. Never doubted ya for a second.

  • [Caught up in the excitement of Buzz's 'flying']
    (laughing) Golly Bob-Howdy

Rex is a plastic Tyrannosaurus Rex figure. Despite his portrayal as a ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex, Rex is ironically gentle, kind, and caring, and he hates any argument or confrontation. Though his vocabulary is pretty strong, he is somewhat absent-minded and tends to cause accidental mayhem due to his size and obliviousness. Rex also suffers from anxiety. He fears being replaced or abandoned, either at the prospect of being thrown away or the arrival of a newer, more ferocious dinosaur toy. Despite his fears, he finds happiness and enjoyment in most things; one of his favorite pastimes includes playing video games with his friends, a hobby in which Rex has shown a fair amount of talent. With his childlike demeanor and lack of self-confidence, Rex is the most innocent of all the toys and shows the greatest desire to be loved and played with. Largely because of his innocence, he also can show himself to be very gullible. Despite his constant fear of rejection, he is a valued member of the gang and considered to be the most "ferocious" dinosaur toy a kid could ask for in the eyes of both Andy and Bonnie.

  • [Talking about trying to be scary but failing]
I'm going for fearsome here, but I just don't feel it. I think I'm just coming across off as annoying.

  • [Panicking about Andy getting a new dinosaur toy]
But what if Andy gets another dinosaur, a mean one? I just don't think I could take that kind of rejection.

  • [Explaining where he was manufactured]
And I'm from Mattel. Well, I'm not really from Mattel. I'm actually from a smaller company that was purchased in a leverage buyout.

  • [Alerting the toys about birthday guests]
Pardon me. I hate to break up the staff meeting but.... they're here! Birthday guests at three o'clock!

  • [To Rex, Annoyed]
Oh, for crying out loud. They're all in boxes, you idiot.

  • [Snarking about Sid and summer camp]
They must've kicked him out early this year.

  • [To Woody, Flirty]
I wanted to thank you, Woody, for saving my flock.

[Woody: Oh, hey, it was, uh, nothin'.]

What do you say I get someone else to watch the sheep tonight?

  • [Impressed by Buzz]
Well, sure. Look at him! He's got more gadgets on him than a Swiss Army knife.

  • [Looking at Andy upset at losing Woody, Sympathetic]
Oh, Woody, if only you could see how much Andy misses you.

Little Green Men

Role assigned to: Jacob Star

The Little Green Men are extremely mime-like and rarely have much to say when the gang is out on an adventure. They don't appear to show much emotion, often staying still and silent whenever they fall or they are thrown. The only exceptions are whenever they notice an object similar to the Claw, see something excitable, or when speaking to Mr. Potato Head. Though their surroundings within Pizza Planet have convinced them that they are real aliens, they already seem to be aware that they're supposed to freeze when humans are around. Despite their silence, they are shown to love their family and are extremely loyal to their adoptive father, Mr. Potato Head, after saving them.

  • A stranger! From the outside! Oo-o-o-o-o-o...

  • The cla-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-w!!

  • [A green man being chosen by The Claw]
I have been chosen!! Farewell, my friends! I go on to a better place.

(As Woody) Are you gonna come quietly?

Role assigned to: Sally Basler

Sid Phillips is Andy's evil next-door neighbor. Unlike his neighbor, he does extremely horrid things to his toys instead of treating them with love and care. Sid is a young, bratty, and somewhat disturbed 11-year-old skate punk with metal braces, whose idea of fun is terrorizing his little sister, Hannah, by taking her toys away and using them for scary experiments, like switching their heads or performing operations on them. He also destroys toys in many ways (exploding, burning, or in his "mad doctor" plays).

  • [After winning Woody and Buzz, a weirdly menacing tone]
(as Newscaster) Sid Phillips reporting. Launch of the shuttle has been delayed due to adverse weather conditions at the launch site. Tomorrow's forecast...

(As himself, menacing) Sunny. Ha-ha-ha. Sweet dreams.

  • [Angry at his sister tattling on him]
She's lying! Whatever she says, it's not true!

  • [Panicking after seeing the toys alive]
The toys! The toys are alive! N-N-Nice toy...

What's wrong, Sid?! Don't you want to play with Sally?!
