Takemichi is completely loyal to those he considers his friends and fiercely protective of them. He is willing to risk his very life to ensure that they are safe and sound. This loyalty spurs on his determination to create a better future for the ones he cares about. This is shown through his countless leaps back in time to change the gruesome outcome of his loved ones.

In a fight, Takemichi has never backed down. He is more willing to be beaten within an inch of his life than to admit defeat. This has become a huge source of inspiration for Toman's members and has proven instrumental even against all odds.

Naoto Tachibana is the younger brother of Hinata Tachibana, a detective in the organized crime department of Tokyo, and the "trigger" for Takemichi Hanagaki's time travel powers. As an adult, Naoto is a righteous individual who is also determined to alter save his sister. He has a no-nonsense personality and is usually unamused by others' humorous advances. He is also willing to embrace far-fetched possibilities, such as the fact that Takemichi can time-travel, and even make his own hypotheses about it.

Atsushi portrays a sense of strong confidence as he's the leader of his small group of delinquents. As the leader of the group, Atsushi cares for his friends. He knows that Takuya isn't good at fighting and wished to take his place so that Takuya doesn't get hurt. He was ready to kill Kiyomasa in order to save himself and his friends from a dire situation as he couldn't see any other way out.

Ken Ryuguji or Draken, is the vice-president and one of the founding members of the Tokyo Manji Gang.Like the president, vice-president Draken is also quite the wild individual. He loves a good fight and relishes meeting strong opponents. He is rude to those he considers beneath him and makes it clear he does not like them. Unlike Mikey, Draken is the more mature and logical of the two. Draken is also a very caring individual. He hates overtly showing affection to the ones he cares about but will go to great lengths to take care of Mikey. He puts up with Mikey's antics and values him as a close friend, carries Mikey around when he falls asleep, takes him to eat his favorite foods, and wakes him up every morning for school. In addition, he gave Emma a plushie for her birthday, and Emma notes that it was one that she had been wanting for a while.

Baji has a wild personality. He loves the thrill of adrenaline and Mikey himself says that he would punch someone out on the street for no apparent reason, only because he feels like it. In combat, he is never without his trademark grin.

Baji is fiercely loyal to Toman. He is willing to cast himself as the villain in his friends and comrades' eyes in order to protect them. In the end, he is even willing to sacrifice himself to ensure that Toman does not lose its way.

He is also a very perceptive individual, seeing through who the true villains who threaten Toman are. He is the only one, aside from Takemichi, who does so, revealing his sharp intellect.

Baji's acting skills are remarkable. He is able to fool both friend and foe into thinking he truly defects to Valhalla. Even the most perceptive ones who suspect him at first get tricked into thinking he really cut ties with Toma

Kisaki is a ruthless, cunning, and ambitious individual who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. Although average in stature, his power to rule with fear makes even those stronger than he obey him. The entirety of his actions in the entire story revolves around becoming the most powerful and influential criminal in Tokyo.

Kisaki cares little about his subordinates and superiors alike, seeing both groups as tools for his success. In fact, he sees almost everyone as objects for him to be manipulated. He is selfishly willing to incriminate others or even make them sacrifice their lives in order for him to escape the law or further his plans. In spite of this, he has remarkable charisma, able to find many willing to serve under him, though this is also because they fear him. He also garners the trust of a few powerful and notable delinquents, which allows him in turn to gain control of their underlings.

As a child, he was very timid and insecure. His isolation during childhood makes him develop an inferiority complex and molds him into the ruthless individual that is seen throughout the story. It is also likely the reason why he only sees others as tools.

Kisaki's number one drive in life is his obsessive love for Hinata developed during his childhood. Seeing how Hinata was attracted to Takemichi who wanted to become a delinquent, he researched and came to the natural conclusion that if he became Japan's top delinquent then Hinata would come to love him as a proxy of his superiority.

Fully aware of his physical limitations when compared to other fighters he resorted to more subtle means to achieve his goal, controlling events from behind, instigating conflict and at times murder, while at the same time using every chance possible to gain the trust of whom he deemed necessary to fuel his agenda, researching to the minimal detail and accute precision to set in motion his plans. Incredibly patient and with a strong tolerance to frustration, he didn't mind waiting several years before the full extent of his plans was fulfilled and showed incredible persistence in his schemes when some of his plans failed.

Ultimately his compulsion to win Hinata's favor was not rooted in genuine love, but on selfish, possessive egotism, best evidenced by having her murdered after being rejected in every timeline in which he confessed to her, repulsed by the idea of her being with another man and driven insane by her rejection, unable to understand why she would not look at his way despite everything he believed he did for her sake.

Nahoya is very protective of his younger twin brother and never wants him to cry and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. He enjoys a good fight and a strong opponent. And is extremely hard to read for his opponents because of the constant grin on his face which is still present whether he's mad or tired.

Nahoya is loyal to his friends but his strongest loyalty lands with his brother.

He has a lot of respect for mikey, he got real mad when he thought takemichi was disrespecting the former, still keeping his grin

Contrary to his appearance, Angry is kind and a pacifist. He cares a lot about his friends and wants to protect and support them at all costs. Nahoya stated that he is not the kind of guy to beat up someone because he is too nice for it.

Mitsuya is a calm, levelheaded person who is also the source of positivity in the gang. Despite his rough upbringing, he tackles every day with a smile. Mitsuya is a pacifist, preferring to not get into an altercation if possible, but at the same time, will not hesitate to fight in order to protect what is dear to him.

He has shown an angrier side to him, getting frustrated at Takemichi when he was losing and told him to stay focused.

He cares for his two younger sisters, Luna and Mana, acting as both their mother and father since their mother is rarely at home due to work.

Emma has a very childish demeanor when around Ken her long time crush. She will often flirt with others to try to get him jealous and then deflate when he doesn't get angry, hoping to steal his attention from her brother. She acts older than she is because she wishes to grow up faster but her childish nature comes out still. She is loyal to her brother and listens to his orders.

Hinata notes that Emma is at heart a pure romanticist who wants her love to succeed, and is a very kind girl at heart who worries about others despite trying to maintain a more composed demeanor.

Kiyomasa is a merciless and cruel individual, who brutalizes those he considers below him. He is not hesitant at all to assert his dominance upon the weak and use them to fulfill his thirst for violence and means.

When challenged or when otherwise annoyed, Kiyomasa can become incredibly more brutal at times often resorting to use a bat to beat the target of his scorn to an inch of their lives. This can be seen when Takemichi Hanagaki asked to see Sano, Kiyomasa does not want to hear that name coming from his underlings for some reason. Incredibly arrogant to a fault, when Mikey and Draken appeared during his fight in his own fighting ring, he never bowed down to either of them, despite knowing in full who they were, and had to be forced to bow by Draken. The severe beating and reprimanding that ensued for making a clandestine fighting ring imply that he acted without consent from his superiors, therefore attributing himself an authority that he never had in the first place.

He is also shown with a vengeful streak, as seen when he gets manipulated into attempting to stab Draken to death out of spite for humiliating him earlier.

Hanma can be best described as an adrenaline junkie. His single purpose in life is to find excitement, taking to street violence as a means to relieve his intense boredom. However, he slowly sinks into apathy as he continues to win fight after fight without much resistance. It is for this reason that he eventually allies himself with Kisaki and cares little if the latter exploits him, as he finds exhilaration in following his plans.

As long as he can entertain himself, he cares little about the consequences or the collateral damage that is caused by his actions. This mindset extends even to himself as he has very little regard for the value of his own life.

Hanma is also sadistic and cruel, eagerly enjoying violence and taking active an active role in Kisaki's plans. Even gloating and enjoying the chaos caused by their crimes, sometimes reacting with euphoria at being at the center of battle and seeing people getting hurt through their schemes.

Chifuyu is a loyal person who sports a calm, logical demeanor. He is unwilling to leave the sides of his friends and refuses to fight those he considers close to him. He is willing to let his emotions shine when a situation calls for it and doesn't shy away from helping out others blindly. Even if he gets beat up by or for friends, he still sticks by their sides.

He typically acts as an adviser for Takemichi and makes plans before jumping into action. He's usually composed under high-pressure situations that might even cost him his life. Though he acts knowledgeable and levelheaded, he is naive at times and doesn't always plan things meticulously, which has lead to unfortunate consequences at times.

Chifuyu is also very willing to go against those who are doing morally reprehensible things even if they are in a position of higher power.

During the his first year in middle school, Chifuyu displayed himself as someone who was against higher authority that abused their power and therefore, acted cold but compassionate. However, despite having strength, he never wanted to take control of his school, seeing students who look down on other students as losers which is why he hated prideful, boastful upperclassmen the most.

Kazutora is a very broken soul; as a child, he was forced to pick between his mom and dad in a case of domestic violence.[4] As a result of his fundamentally non-existent family life, he scorned upon other happy families. Something as simple as seeing children having tender moments with their parents, triggered a sore spot within Kazutora and irritated him deeply.

It is likely that his deep attachment to Toman, was in fact rooted in solace from his solitude, and he was in fact very loyal to Toman and Mikey and strived to make him happy at all costs, even resorting to unhealthy and downright criminal methods such as theft. Such impulses would ultimately end up for the worst as his theft attempt would end up in tragedy, and with his already fragile mind collapsing in a matter of minutes. As a coping mechanism, he irrationally shifted the blame of Shinichiro's death onto Mikey. [5] Kazutora is mentally strained, and as a 15-year old, was on the edge of losing his sanity after spending years locked up. What little sanity he had left was kept in check by Baji, who played along with his delusion that everything wrong in his life was because of Mikey.

Kazutora is shown to be fairly unstable, sadistic and incredibly violent. While he came up as tranquil and polite when presenting himself to Takemichi's group, he no soon after introduced them to his "most trusted men" both of whom he broke their legs, forcing them to use crutches to walk, with a smile on his face at what he had done, as if it was normal. When the Bloody Halloween was about to begin he was so irritated at Draken's demand, that he took it on Hansen, the fight's referee all while proclaiming they (Valhalla) were going to beat Toman to death, showing visible glee at the bloodbath that would soon ensue.

Kazutora is so deranged and detached from reality, that he believed that while killing people makes one a bad person, killing enemies made one a hero, showcasing the extreme and warped logic developed by him as a means to justify killing Mikey for all that Kazutora misguidedly blamed him for.

After his second stay in prison, he got the help he needed and integrated back into life. He remains quiet, his emotional strain still apparent at times, but appears to be more well managed.

As an adult, Kazutora has recovered fully. He can speak normally with others as well as react to events emotionally. He also shows regret for his past actions, and is at heart incredibly loyal to both Toman and Mikey, so much that in an alternate timeline, he was distraught when Toman was corrupted by Black Dragon money, and fought fiercely to dismantle them.

In the current timeline, he is in more openly friendly terms with Takemichi and was the first to approach and support him on his quest to find Mikey. He was also concerned over Takemichi's wellbeing noting he would be marrying soon, showing Kazutora is not blindly loyal to Mikey, but is capable of caring for others adequately.
