This will be a fandub of the "Tokyo Babylon" manga, the prequel to "X/1999". It focuses on the story of Subaru Sumeragi, his sister Hokuto, and Seishirou Sakurazuka.
The year is 1991, and Japan is full of evil spirits that only the arts of the onmyouji, Japan's legendary occulties, can combat. 16 year old Subaru, the new leader of a clan of onmyouji, battles against these evil spirits, sometimes with help from his friend Seishirou. Seishirou, who keeps up the appearance of being a veterinarian, is in truth the Sakurazukamori, an assassin onmyouji who works in the shadows, unbeknownst to Subaru.
Genre: Supernatural, Horror, Drama, Comedy (Generally has a PG-14 rating, though at times can become PG-17)
NOTICE: This is a shounen-ai manga, meaning guy x guy romance, involving the two main characters Subaru and Seishirou. Though it has nothing over a PG rating in regards to this pairing, it will be talked about a lot. Please note this.
My only requirements for those trying out:
-Microphone quality should be reasonably good.
-Dedicated voice actors who will get their lines in on time, or will let me know if they'll need more time.
-Be able to render audio to either WAV or MP3

A spiritualist who believes she can heal the emotional pain of anyone. She is the head of the MS Institute, a sort of religious group. Unknown to her, she has been targeted for assassination by Seishirou. Appears in a couple chapters.
(giving a speech) All of you are wonderful beings. Please, believe in yourselves. Please be kinder to yourselves. There isn't a single unnecessary person in this world.
Subaru, you are exceptionally powerful. And for that power, you worry, and suffer.
(nervously & afraid) Have I troubled you? Are you from another religious group?
Her son desperately needs a kidney transplant. She loves her son dearly. Stressed and worried, she's about out of patience. Finally reaching the end of her sanity after Yuuya's health goes downhill, she attempts to injure Subaru. Appears in a couple chapters.
I'm sorry, Yuuya! I'm sorry that I didn't choose you! Yuuya!
(crying) He's in such pain... and every day I'm so worried. I ..I just can't wait anymore.
(insanely) Hey, you.. You'll give a kidney to Yuuya, right? Yes.. you will donate one, won't you...

Old Voice
Is the father of Sachiyo. He loves his family, though feels sad because he knows it's hard for them to support him as well as themselves. Spends his time looking after birds in the park. Appears in a couple chapters.
(happily) All these little birds are my friends. We spend a lot of time here together.
(sadly) The only ones who cannot understand another's heart.. are people.

I met Kumiko in this park. I'd been crying after being teased by the girls in my class.
I.. I want to become strong. Not in the way Ms. Kumiko spoke of, but strong enough to be able to live wholeheartedly in this world.
Subaru's childhood friend, she goes into a self-induced coma after being raped by a gang. Subaru uses his powers to speak with her, to try and help her cope with what's happened to her. **Note: I would like whoever is cast to also voice the child version of her. Doesn't have to be much, if you can manage a bit higher of a voice that would be good enough. Appears in one chapter.

Full of anger and hatred after Seishirou's betrayal and the death of Subaru's sister, he continues his work as an onmyouji, but also spends his days trying to hunt Seishirou down, having sworn to kill him.
(quietly but fiercely) Seishirou.. I've been looking for you for a long time. .. In order to turn my wish into reality.
Hokuto! Don't do it! Don't go, Hokuto! Hokuto!!
