Titan Arum - Audiobook (Main and Supporting Roles)
Project Overview
Overview
Titan Arum is a novel that I have been working on for close to two years now and have been planning it for an additional one. It is a fantasy novel with hints of sci-fi. I would categorize it as YA fiction. The plot revolves somewhat around Oliver Green, a 14-year-old boy who has just joined a superhuman branch of the military and now must prepare to face the consequences of his actions. The world is set on a different planet that humanity escaped to after destroying earth a few centuries prior to when the novel takes place. On this planet there is a platform in the center of the city that holds nine doors on it. Each door leads to a whole other planet that is otherwise inaccessible. There are themes such as gore and violence. I would like for this novel to become published, whether self-published or not, but realistically this is more of a passion project. I am an amateur teen writer, so I don't expect any lucrative success. Unless a profit is made off of this novel, I am afraid this will be unpaid. We can discuss a proper split in case a profit is made in further detail once talents have been chosen. Currently, voice actors and artists will work on tik toks meant to market the novel. These tik toks will remain between 1-3 minutes total.
Time FrameI'd like to work on at most two tik toks a month for the moment. Realistically we won't do more than one each month though but do keep it in mind. Please do understand that any work will be slow and inconsistent at least until the book is finished and is ready to be published.
CommitmentThis will be a commitment on all parts. Please be aware that I want to take this seriously, and I don't want this project to fizzle out. I am willing to work with talents to ensure that everything can get done, as I understand this is unpaid work and people also have their own lives.
Both artists and voice actors will have similar responsibilities. Artists will have more work, realistically, but both will be working on the same projects. Artists will mostly be working on full body character drawings and still frame scenes.
I can give more information on the project details on request. Please let me know if you have a question you need answered.

Oliver Green is one of the main characters from my novel, Titan Arum. He is your stereotypical underdog. He's typically a pretty cheery fellow. His emotions come across somewhat clearly in his voice, whether that's excitement, fear, or and such emotion, he's expressive enough that you can tell what he's feeling but not overly so. He is 14, so his voice isn't super mature either. Oliver doesn't deal well with new situations. He doesn't know how to adapt to things and thus ends up putting others in danger because of his fear and hesitance. Please leave your discord.

“I-It’s okay, you don’t have anything to apologize for. I think your apology might do Grace more good. He looked upset.” (nervous, surprised, uncomfortable)
Oliver Green, sir, ma’am. My ability is Stone Hands, with a Limited–Liability classification. It’s a pleasure to meet you both. (Proper, greeting superiors, still a little chipper, excited, immature)
The Commander?! (Surprised, voice cracks)
Hero's Honor is another major supporting role. She is Hero's Grace's cousin and is also pretty much the exact opposite of him. She speaks in a formal tone, as if she's speaking with her superiors. Her word choice is straight to the point, no nonsense. She rarely shows emotion, though her tone usually sounds more serious than monotone/apathetic. She is around 18 years old, a little younger than Grace, like a few months. The only times she shows any emotion is when she gets angry or upset, then she explodes. She can be incredibly volatile with her emotions when they're negative. Please leave your discord.

"The Commander is asking for you."
“Traitor.” (with malice, in a quiet rage, a carefully controlled tornado)
“A look won’t kill you, Em.” (dark, slow, leering, testing)
