Time/Divided is a game I am working on using RPG Maker VX Ace. It takes place in Chicago in the year 2043, when the news has (rather bluntly) begun reporting about the existence of a time machine, created by a supposedly-non-existant group called the Underwater Railroad. As a result of this time machine's existence, a whole lot of weird things begin to occur. (Though, arguably, some of it is probably not all that unusual considering this is Chicago we're talking about. Ha ha.)

There are some roles that have come up during the writing of the first of five stories, as well as some roles that I need replaced! New characters may be added if I end up needing to drop unresponsive actors while this call is up, so feel free to check back every so often.
There will likely be more casting calls for this same project as I add more roles!

Requirements:
- Good quality audio is preferred for actors (however, if you don't have a good microphone, I'm sure I can work some editing magic somehow)
- Must be easy to contact if chosen for a role (preferably via e-mail, however Skype also accepted)

Mali is only eight years old, but she likes to act like she's eighteen. She's very realistic, even at a young age, and is brave, like one has to be when their brother murders their mother and all of the neighbors. That being said, she is still a child, especially with her hot temper and her sometimes-delicate wording.

  • (aggressive) Shut up, you meanie!!

  • (demanding/scared) But why?! Why kill anyone?! Why kill mom?! [Because they're selfish] And killing them changes that fact? If anything, you're the most selfish of all, you jerk!

  • (serious/confident) My name is Mali. I'm not as helpless as you may think. I can hold my own.

Prof. Bennett is a chemistry professor, as well as a famous inventor. He works for The Underwater Railroad, and is the person behind the creation of the time machine. His motives are unknown, but seem to be less than good...

  • (surprised) Too far? *This?* Southwell, *this* is *progress!* For the betterment of humanity! You know that.

  • (serious/casual) I know that most of you are here to destroy the time machine. Unfortunately for all of you, I cannot allow this device to fall into the hands of anyone who may stand a chance of destroying it.
