Time Adventure (Adventure Time Parody)
Project Overview
Time Adventure is a parody of Adventure Time that mocks the surrealist and abstract genre of Adventure Time. The episodes follow the original plot loosely, but the words are messed around and have progressively become more incoherent or joking to further made fun of the genre of which Adventure Time is. This is not dissimilar to anime abridged series and aims to have a series of both visual and audio gags.

The Queen's descendent, Finn. A boy of questionable intelligence, he adores maths and fighting in order to help the royalty of Ooo, in spite of what his natural voice would dictate.
Finn should have a voice similar to a British aristocrat with the easily ability for him to break from the character the posh voice dictates. He often shouts out his phrases and is bad at hiding any anxiousness.
"K. I sign."
"Speedily saying words of anxiousness. Speedily saying words of anxiousness. Speedily saying words of anxiousness. Words of anxiousness ultima."
[nervously] "Ahha ah, what? No, no way. That's preposterous! Tea and crumpets!"
Adoring of his friends and robotic in his emotion, Jake is the perfect dog to purchase at a friend at your local pet store. He seems to have an innate sense of what his friends feel, even if he can't mimic said feelings.
When Jake is stating an expressive sound, he immediately enters a robotic state, but is able to hold emotion in his regular tone. Jake should be able to flow easily from emotive to monotonous.
"Don't dog me till you've stopped dogging my questions! Hey... (monotonously) Sock has been sniffed. (back to normal tone) Isn't Puff Granddaddy Cream deceased? Didn't he commit not alive?"
"(monotone) Spoopy ghost noises."
"Catch my whoa. You are up to PB. Are you prank calling Mo? Can I help?"
The goddess-level leader of the Candy Kingdom: Princess Bubblegum. Her nerdiness is on a whole other plain of existence, with clear inspiration from her favourite idol: Taylor Swift.
Princess Bubblegum should be noticeably nerdy in her speech, but also be able to slip into an incoherent manner of speaking like the rest of the cast. When giving orders, she should sound a little more demanding.
"No. If my serum of corpse works, all the reverse alive Candy People will look young and healthy unlike you."
"Pick up the tough guy, platter."
"Citizens made of sugar! Report to the heart of all worlds: Kingdom Hearts, immediately!"
With the inability to speak any other language, Lady Rainicorn takes full advantage of the fact that nobody understands her Korean. She often speaks inappropriately and does enjoy a good snort here or there.
Lady Rainicorn should be able to pronounce Korean words to some degree of correct to where it is recognisable. A lot of her interest likes with her boyfriend, Jake.
"아빠를 주먹으로~ (appaleul jumeog-eulo~)"
"나를 묶어 줘~ (naleul mukk-eo jwo~)"
"나는 망했어~ (naneun manghaess-eo~)"
As a woman of Groot, Tree Trunks has a close connection to nature and therefore lives by the trees. However, she also possesses another side to her: that of a cougar.
Tree Trunks should be able to speak in a promiscuous tone, while also simultaneously sounding like a meek, old lady
"(promiscuous tone) Oh, I hope it's not bad news."
"Flies wanted it, they can have it. "
"That tea party was crummier than a big ol' biscuit."
You can audition for one or the other, or both if you like. Nothing is obligating you to do both, however.
Starchie: your average grave digger. With a warm heart and oblivious attitude, he is the perfect candidate to get ambushed by zombies and quickly become one of them.
Manfried: a piñata that always manages to chip in. All he wants is for his race to not be exterminated, but that clearly won't be happening any time soon.
Starchie: "I'll press pause, then. By the mausoleum. With my bare derriere. "
Manfried: "Very real gasp."
Manfried: "Appreciation."
Audition for extras that are needed on an episode by episode basis (you can always audition for any other parts that are more significant later, if you would like).
As of episode one, these parts are inclusive of Mr, Cupcake, Chet, Chocoberry and the candy zombies.
You may be cast as an extra and not be given a part in episode one, but likely will be in episode 2.
"Mmmm. Cannabalism."
"Are ears functional here?"
"Meaty."
