Tigris: A Star Trek Fan Production
Project Overview
Tigris: A Star Trek Fan Production is a semi-animated project following the newly-promoted Captain Sosra Triex Raneev as she navigates command, her relationships to her new crewmembers, and the complications of hosting a Trill symbiote. Will she rise to the occasion and bring her new crew together, or will the perils of command and her own homeworld's problems throw her into the unknown?
This project has a mix of episodic sci-fi concepts and over-arching stories, harkening back to other franchies staples such as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Our goal is to tell stories that resonate with people--No more, no less.
Notes:
-We are an LGBTQ+ positive production. Many of our characters, cast , and crew are members of the community. This includes both creative leads.
-We utilize Discord for the majority of our communication and production needs. If you join the production we highly suggest you get an account and familiarize yourself with the software.
-We are currently in production of our pilot, and pre-production for episode 2. There are a planned 24 episodes.
-Actors brought on for smaller roles have the option of remaining in contact with us for possible future roles.

Rureem is a Trill ambassador trying to negotiate peace between a distant planet and their lunar colony. He is confident, clever, and steadfast in his ways. He's also arrogant and condescending at times.
Note: This character will die over the course of the episode, but there are other roles in the project that need to be filled and other possible 'bit parts' that we would consider keeping the actor on for.
RUREEM: Only those with the best minds and the best genetics are fit for joining. Why Wren would do this is…beyond me. The risks are substantial.
RUREEM: I know it may be a little unprofessional, but I mean it when I say your mother would have been proud. She wanted this for you for a long time and I’m excited that you’re finally following in her footsteps. I’m sure you’ll do a great deal for your people and your planet.
RUREEM (Pleading): No, no, I do understand. I do! You had to make due with what you had–being exiled cut you off from your people and from…suitable hosts. You risked rejection–
Helios is a young, impressionable Trill who was rejected from joining for a minor genetic quirk. He dedicated his life to becoming joined and the rejection of his application caused him great distress, which made him the perfect mark for the enigmatic and charming Wren symbiote.
Wren is an ancient, traumatized Trill symbiote who overwhelms and suppresses the personality and needs of his hosts. After he joins to Helios he uses the young host's body to carry out his desires instead of blending properly to the humanoid. He is determined, murderous, and filled with righteous fury.
Note: This character will die over the course of the episode, but there are other roles in the project that need to be filled and other possible 'bit parts' that we would consider keeping the actor on for.

She dedicated her life to becoming joined and the rejection of her application caused her great distress, which made Kell the perfect mark for the enigmatic and charming Wren symbiote.
Wren is an ancient, traumatized Trill symbiote who overwhelms and suppresses the personality and needs of his hosts. After he joins to Kell he uses the young host's body to carry out his desires instead of blending properly to the humanoid. He is determined, murderous, and filled with righteous fury.
Note: The actress playing Kell/Wren Kell will be the main antagonist for the rest of the season.

WREN: I have much to do, doctor. It’s time to put the word out to my disciples. Wren Kell is calling them home.
Friendly, feisty, and a deep lover of puns; Toloris Tala is a Bolian starfleet Captain. Recently promoted to command of the highly-regarded Odyssey, she is handing her former ship (The USS Tigris) over to its new Captain, Sosra Raneev.
Note: Captain Tala only has a small part in the first episode, but our intention is to have her return for a larger role in later episodes.

TALA: You’re being reassigned to The U.S.S. Tigris–my former ship–where you’ll be taking command. Your first officer is the former Science Officer of the U.S.S. Eagle, Commander Sennek Acro. I’ll send over the files on him and the rest of your new crew ASAP.
TALA (laughs): That’s what you do when you’re scatterbrained: you put notes everywhere. So you can note-ice what you forgot!
