Due to our previous VA stepping down, we've added the character Ayumi Takahara to the casting call, as her next appearance will be in TWGOK II Abridged.
The World God Only Knows II Abridged
Project Overview
The World God Only Knows is an anime about applying skills used for dating simulators to real life while under a demonic contract. The World God Only Knows II is the sequel season to that concept, expanding upon the lore and cast and setting up for the final arc in the third season. And we're going to abridge that.
At the time of this casting call, the first season of TWGOK Abridged is only on episode 4 out of 8. However, that season is expected to finish during the summer of 2017. This season will begin in fall of 2017 and likely end in spring of 2018. Like the first season, it will have 8 episodes, all averaging around 15 minutes in length.
The tone of the series is a blend of silliness with seriousness. Some episodes will be filled with jokes and quips while others will focus more on the emotional states of the characters. There is a large amount of swearing in the series, but if you do not wish to swear, then the lines can be rewritten to your level of comfort. It's no biggie.
Lastly, it would be preferred if you have something along the lines of Skype or Discord in order to be able to be voice directed. While more of a luxury rather than a necessity, it would still be useful for this series.

Haqua du Lot Herminium, the demon overachiever.
Haqua is the District Chief of a nearby district. She gives the protagonists difficulty because of a loose soul that she managed to let escape. Haqua has a superiority complex and comes off as stuck up and on her own little high horse at times. In the abridged series, Haqua is the most perverted of the trio. Alongside that, she is tries to act overly confident to cloak her insecurity. This often leads to scenarios where she relies on her own judgement rather than common sense, leading to trouble for the protagonists. Haqua dislikes being proved wrong, is rather murderous in moments of extreme emotion, and cares little about the state of being of everyone except for one particular person she has a rather large crush on.
She likes superiority, things going her way, and Elucia de Lute Ima.
She dislikes loneliness, humans, and Keima Katsuragi.
[Charming, reuniting with an old friend] (Giggles) Looks like I caught me a cutie! It's been a while, hasn't it, Elsie?
[Defensive, then embarrassed] Don't get the wrong idea! The only reason I'm asking for your help is… (Sighs) because I'm too embarrassed to ask Elsie.
[Condescending, aggressive, and intimidating] What the fuck did you just say to me? I'll have you know that I graduated at the top of my year in loose soul hunting! Do you know how fast I can end your puny existence? You're dealing with Haqua du Lot Herminium, mother fucker!!

Ayumi Takahara, the aggressive track girl.
Ayumi is the very first conquest and gives the protagonist difficulty in conquering her heart due to her overly aggressive and violent nature. Despite her aggression, Ayumi is shown to be a caring person, even to those who she particularly does not like. For instance, she shows the protagonist compassion in his time of need. She has a very strict work ethic, can have an egotistical demeanor at times, and often gets very competitive.
She enjoys track, playing guitar, and hanging out.
She dislikes being the center of attention, laziness, and Keima Katsuragi.
[Energetically shouting as she sprints down the hall] You're in the way! Move it or lose it dweeb!!
[Sadistic and menacing, said whilst choking a person] What did I just say?! You think this is all just a game?!
[Sobbing] What's the point? I've tried so hard but I can't run as fast anymore. I'm useless... Useless!!

NOTE: The main character (Tenri) is mute. The only bits where she talks is during flashbacks to her childhood. Diana, however, is able to speak telepathically.

Tenri Ayukawa, the hopeful magician.
Tenri is technically not a conquest. Nevertheless, she gives the protagonists difficulty due to the alleged loose soul she has inside her. Tenri was Keima’s childhood friend, and often acts shy and reluctant around him. In the abridged series, following an incident, Tenri loses the ability to speak. Tenri is easily flustered, has matured in mind much more than others her age, and finds a way to stay determined even in the bleakest of situations.
She likes magic tricks, bubble wrap, and Keima Katsuragi.
She dislikes social interaction, getting involved in stuff involving demons, and Keima Katsuragi.
Diana, the stuck-up goddess.
Diana is the first Goddess revealed. Her host is Tenri. Diana is very egotistical, often viewing mortals as trash. In the abridged series, Diana is the sole voice for her and Tenri and uses whatever influence she can to get her way. Diana can often get out of hand in her antics, refuses to accept defeat, and has difficulty socializing due to her personality.
She likes superiority, other heavenly beings, and Tenri Ayukawa.
She dislikes inferiority, mortals, and Keima Katsuragi.[As Diana, angry and arrogant] Foolish mortal! You dare challenge a Goddess? I created you and I can surely destroy you!
[As Diana, embarrassed and slightly flustered] Don’t get the wrong idea… It’s not like I like you. I’m just doing this for Tenri’s sake.
[As Kid Tenri, shy and worried] Keima, where are you going? Please don’t leave me alone here...

Kusunoki Kasuga, the cute strong martial artist.
Kusunoki is the the first conquest of the second season, and gives the protagonist difficulty in conquering her heart because of her split personality that reveals her repressed feminine thoughts. Kusunoki is the head of the girls’ karate club, which she is not coincidentally the only member of. In the abridged series, Kusunoki is shown to be a badass revered throughout the school for her no bullshit mindset. Despite this stone cold persona, Kusunoki has a soft side that ends up becoming both the obstacle and key to conquering her.
She enjoys dry rice crackers, kittens throwing kittens off of ledges, and justice.
She dislikes weaklings, cute things, and Keima Katsuragi.[Domineering and intimidating] Weaklings like you are the reason that scum exists in the first place. Why don't you quit acting like a pansy and man up?
[Cutesy and embarrassed] A date? I've never been on a date before… *Pause* I'd love to!!

Jun Nagase, the idealistic student teacher.
Jun is the the final conquest of the second season, and gives the protagonist difficulty in conquering her heart because of her position as a student teacher, alongside her overbearing personality. Jun tries to help her students to the best of her abilities, often leading to backlash from her students. In the abridged series, this is no different. Jun has a massive amount of energy and determination and this is seen throughout her entire appearance. Jun is difficult to anger due to her friendly demeanor, might stalk you if you start failing, and is willing to do anything to create her ideal world. Also Jun is freaking adorable...
She enjoys wrestling, sports, and teaching.
She dislikes opposing ideologies, helpless problem children, and Keima Katsuragi.[Kind-hearted Greeting] Good morning class! My name is Ms. Nagase and I'll be your assistant teacher for this semester! Oh! And my favorite wrestler of all time is Jumbo Tsuruma!!
[Narrating her favorite wrestling match, dramatically in excitement] So Omega runs off the ropes back towards Okada, but Okada, with a burst of energy, flips Omega over his shoulder, completely clearing the ropes, and Omega lands straight through the fucki- *Cuts herself off* pardon my language. Straight through the freaking table!!
[Angry and upset, yelling] This is all your fault! I could’ve done it but you screwed me up! I’m an adult now. I studied hard. I’m the ideal teacher! This time… this time I was going to make it work!!

Nora Floriann Leoria, the demon maniac.
Nora is the District Chief of Keima and Elsie’s district. Nora is an easily angered airhead that complains often yet still finds a way to succeed. In the abridged series, Nora seems to be less in control of her partner, Ryo, who in turn appears to be pulling all of the strings. Nora often makes hasty decisions when given the opportunity, is a complete badass, and seems to hold little regard for others.
She enjoys being popular, being successful, and being right.
She dislikes failure, Goddesses, and Keima Katsuragi.[Innocent] Hello Elucia! It’s been a while, hasn’t it? (Laughs happily)
[Cheerful and delighted] Don’t worry about your partner! I just have to end his miserable existence in front of this girl so we can conquer her. No biggie!
[Angry, yet maintaining her innocent demeanor] That’s it. I’m tired of playing cat and mouse with you two! *Pause* Ryo, can you please beat up these jerks! *Pause* Why not?!

Ryo Asama, the puppet master buddy.
Ryo is Nora’s buddy. In the original series, he is shown to be almost completely incompetent, often leading to Nora fulfill conquests on her own. In the abridged series, however, Ryo is shown to be extremely intelligent and manipulative, leading to him fulfilling the conquests almost entirely on his own. Ryo is shown to have a cocky attitude, treats Keima’s deity complex as joke, and does whatever he can to keep himself and in turn, Nora alive.
He enjoys manipulation, himself, and survival.
He dislikes competitors, failure, and Keima Katsuragi.[Sly and charming] Hello, beautiful. My name is Ryo Asama. What's yours?
[Condescending] Listen Mr. Deity Complex, I have no time for this, so why don’t you and your annoying little sister buzz off?

EXTENT: Will be a minor character in one episode.
One summer during his childhood, Keima and his only "friend" Tenri hid on a boat away from the rest of the kids when an earthquake occurred. Before they realized it, they were trapped together on an island a large ways away from the shore. Luckily, there was a cave entrance on the island that they entered in an attempt to get back to the mainland. Leading the fearful Tenri, Keima traversed the cave, using his portable games as their only source of light.
Keima is generally uninterested with the world around him and would prefer to be sitting at home playing his video games rather than socializing. He represents the true introvert, unwilling to do any form of major socialization, even in a crisis. His age does act as a hindrance to progress as he is a bit impulsive, but he still shows signs of being a remarkable leader, a careless yet brilliant problem solver, and probably the most apathetic person on the planet. It's a good thing he hit his head on a rock that erased all that from his personality. Mostly.
[Casually and apathetically] Tenri, if you're really that scared, you can always just go back to the ship. I'm sure someone will rescue you. Probably.
[Casually and apathetically] I always though that these bright lights were kinda a waste of energy, but now... they're actually useful.
[Casually and apathetically] Mom, if you're really that concerned about my ability to socialize, why don't you take it up with my acquaintance Tenri. I'd say "friend" but our communication has been lacking on her end.
