The Unseen - Urban Horror Video Game
Project Overview
The Unseen is a free horror game I am developing for the 5th RPG Maker Horror Jam. Detective Ethan Jameson of the Byron City Homicide Division is investigating a series of bizarre murders, which eventually leads him to become entwined in the sinister workings of a cult, and a dangerous supernatural being more ancient than man.
As a bonus for players, and just to add a bit of fun background, when activating a radio, players get to hear late night DJ Devon Dark as he tells listeners about stories, myths and legends from around Byron City, before playing some music for them to enjoy.

We've selected our voice actor for Devon Dark. A big thank you once again to everyone who auditioned - your talent and enthusiasm made this a tough but exciting decision. We were truly impressed by the quality of all the submissions. While we could only choose one person for this role, we're grateful for everyone's interest and the amazing auditions you shared with us. We would love to be able to work with any of you on larger projects in the future.

With so many amazing auditions already submitted, and the game itself going into production in 5 days, we have decided to shorten the submission period to work on a smaller audition base of shortlisted voice talent.

[Role Description]
DJ Devon Dark is the late night DJ for BCMR 94.6 radio in the fictional Byron City. He is warm, vibrant and engaging. He loves sharing little anecdotes, folklore and stories from around town, and sometimes, tales of the strange, before playing a song.
DJ Devon Dark is the only voice you will hear in this game, as the radio broadcasts are a little bonus for players who interact with radios scattered throughout the game world.

Whether you're a night owl or just trying to dodge the usual hustle and bustle, I'm here to keep you company with some tunes and tales. Buckle up, because we’ve got a mix of the mysterious and the melodic coming your way!"
"Now, let me share a little local flavor. I was shooting the breeze with Marge from that cozy bakery on Fifth. She swears her cat, Mr. Whiskers, has a vendetta against her cinnamon roll jars. Every Wednesday morning, like clockwork, he knocks one over. Maybe he's moonlighting as a feline food critic, eh? Or perhaps he's just trying to sweeten up his nine lives!"
