The Soldier's Shaman (Animated Thesis Film)
Project Overview
A Soldier has returned to her old shrine, where she discovers her family of shamans have been slaughtered and her brother has been turned into a feral vampire. She must struggle through her painful feelings tied to her past to perform a ritual with her brother in hopes of regrounding his soul.
A 4 minute animated fantasy drama inspired by Korean shamans and the supernatural. A story about resilience and redefinition. Action and drama heavy, with some moments of emotional levity.

Soldier (LEAD)

A typically prickly, guarded soldier returns home to find her destroyed, and her brother turned. She struggles with the most vulnerable parts of her life in order to save him.
- MUST have combat sfx/efforts samples in demo reel/audition!
- Small amounts of acting in a higher pitch may be required (for very brief flashbacks to her childhood)

- Falling victim to a vampire attack, the young shaman struggles with his vampiric urges for most of the film.
- As a human, he's passionate and has a naturally affinity with his family's magic, but has a bit of a snarky personality, especially with his sister (Soldier).
- MUST have a creature demo reel/creature examples, role will require lots of vampire hissing, snarling, etc.
