Project Overview
Hello! I am Abhilash, Official.Abhilesh!#5236 on Discord and Swaghilash on YouTube. Just know that this project will end up being worked on more when I progress further in my other project. This is just some early casting. That means you need to be dedicated!
Summary = In a world of hybrids, Ruby is a teenage ram hybrid and a runaway who is currently being hunted down by the Emeraldian Empire. While running from a group of "Crime Hunters", Ruby runs into a large forest and finds a small shack where she decides to hide until she finds out it is actually a colossal, luxurious, and magical academy veiled with the power of disguise. For a few days, Ruby lives cheerfully at the academy until an enemy creeps closer and closer...
<Expectations + Tips>
While auditioning, be sure to sound authentic! This can be done with putting in a bit of breathiness, lengthening some words, and adding some variation in the way you speak.
This is a long-term project, so it doesn't hurt to embrace the community side! If you get casted, try to keep the cast server I will be making on Discord alive.
If you have any notes about your audition, you can put them. I would love to see what you think.
Be passionate. We want actors who can act out how characters feel!
<Rules>
1. Be dedicated to this project! If you need to give up your role, tell me as quickly as possible.
2. Be supportive of the content in this series! There will be quite a few queer relationships and this series will also deal with the mention of mental disorders. If this makes you uncomfortable, don't apply.
3. Have decent microphone quality. Try to prevent as much background noise as possible.
4. Don't use any voice changers besides reverb and stuff that doesn't change the quality of your voice.
5. You must have Discord. If you are under the age of 13, please DO NOT state your age anywhere on Discord. That could possibly lead to the cast server getting deleted.
6. Any amount of retakes are allowed!
Just know that this project is meant to be taken seriously. You're still allowed to express your humor and basically yourself in auditions, though! I'm pretty open-minded.

Apollo is a supporting character who is close friends with Kairos. He is known for being intimidating and passionate person who cares a lot about what he does.

It's... Not your fault. It's only the fault of the mastermind of this entire event, and she's being dealt with right now.
This is Ruby, the lead character of this series. She is not a very talkative person and is normally quiet. However, she will act kindly to acquaintances and friends.
Voice range = Medium/Medium-low with a feminine edge and a bit of rasp

Lanee is a very eccentric teenager. Think of the vibe of Miouda Ibuki from Danganronpa, but way more vulgar and mean.

Lily is a shy and kind-hearted girl. She was also the second-newest student to The Golden Organization for the Unfortunate’s Academy, but she joined 5 years ago.
Voice range = Medium/Medium-high/High; soft and smooth
Swear status = None/MInimum, depending on voice actor

Scott is just a flirtatious bully who brags about his harem of naïve underclassmen. He's mostly hated (and otherwise disliked) by everyone who doesn't have a crush on him. However, when he's around people who hate him, he gets annoyed very easily and often snaps. Of course, since all of my characters are developed, he has a soft side too.
Voice range = Medium-low/Medium/Medium-high, raspy or smooth but with a sultry tone
Swear status = Maximum/Normal
Flirtatious = Ohh, so you're the new girl, right?~
Annoyed/Not really serious = SHUT UP, LANEE! YOU'RE JUST SAD BECAUSE NO ONE LOVES YOU!
Dejected = I didn't know this would happen. I JUST WANTED TO PLEASE HER!
Gwen does not show his emotions to others besides the occasional hint of annoyance. I wanted him to seem more androgynous, and therefore he can have a masculine or feminine voice. However, his biological gender might be altered based on this.

Deadpan = [Pulls out his phone and shoves it in Scott's face] According to Google, a himbo is apparently an attractive but vacuous man. Doesn't that sort of fit you?
Indignated = Everyone, just shut up. I'm trying to listen to music in peace.
Barely with emotion/Flustered = Yeah. Y-you're one of my closest friends.
Kairos is an overall kind and peaceful guy. Generally, he tries to act confident, but this normally just leads to him in a stuttering mess. He teaches at the academy mentioned at the summary and he is the one to step up and give a tour to any new students.

Awkward = Heh, yeah... They can be a little much sometimes.

Valdia is a brave and kind-hearted girl. She is one of the main reasons why the academy this story centers around even exists. She's known to be close friends with Nathan, too.

Nathan is a timid teenage male who has gone through quite a lot of stuff. He is one of the main reasons that the academy this story centers around is even still up. He is also known to be very close with a girl named Valdia. Hmm...

Jadess is the villain of this series and queen of the Emeraldian Empire. She portrays herself as cunning and manipulative and messes with the minds of characters in this story. However, she has a tremendous amount of respect for her empire. Although she doesn't speak much, she is categorized as a supporting character because of her role.
Voice range = Medium-high/Medium/Medium-low, with a bit of a cunning way of speaking and a feminine edge
Swear status = Any
Manipulative = Oh come on, brother. Can't you just help me?
Angry = I have been cultivating my power for so long... AND YOU EXPECT ME TO GIVE UP?!
[Insert an evil laugh. This can be chaotic or quiet. In fact, you can do multiple takes for this line]
This character can be any gender, as I am unsure for his/her gender in this story. He/she is a highly respected general and also helps the Crime Hunters (those in the Emeraldian Empire who capture criminals) at the beginning. He/She doesn't show up very often, but she/he does have quite a few lines in the first episode.
Voice range = Her/his voice is extremely deep and rough. It is meant to sound intimidating.
Swear status = Any; can be changed based on voice actor

The Crime Hunters are the people who hunt down Ruby in the first episode. They do not have many lines, but it is likely that they will appear well. They all have very different personalities, so get creative with the lines!
Voice range = Any; young-adult/middle-aged/teen voice
Swear status = Depends completely on the boundaries of the voice actors.

This is for all Music Composers who are willing to collaborate with me to create background music and songs for this project. At first, I was planning to learn music production myself, but that started to become difficult for me. Personally, I use Soundtrap, so I prefer if you are able to so that we can collaborate together. However, if not, that is completely fine! I would recommend you put information about yourself in your audition, since that would be helpful.
