The narrator of my story.
"One good thing about me? I take all honors classes and am top of my class."
"That's absurd, of course I- I gasp as memories flood my brain."
"If my theory is correct, it should be completely discharged right now."
Jordan/Axyn is a very serious, intelligent character. He has a few funnier lines as well.
"They aren't mine. They're Kamryn's."
"I need you to trust me, and I'll explain everything later."
(Monotone and Uninterested) "The smaller the hole the less gas escapes the tube but there's more pressure inside the tube thus the emitted flame is more defined. There. That's how it works."
Zerex (more commonly known as Rex throughout the book) is Jordan's Best friend, but also a member of Kamryn's crew. He is dating Abrielle (Abi).
"Technically, it's not your ship; it's Kamryn's."
(Joking) ""Now you look like Narin!"
"Is Abi okay?"
Alyx is from the 71st dimension, and they talk a little weirder on that dimension. So be prepared for weird speech and different words you normally wouldn't use.
"I like to think so, yes."
"Technically, you shouldn't even be here, Zerex."
"Ah, right! I'd forgotten."
Liam is a bully to Jordan/Axyn, but also has an extreme crush on him.
"Hey, Nerd! Where you going?"
"Who do you think you are, some superhero?"
"I'm so ready to kick some more Astral butt! I used butt, and not the other word. You're welcome."
Will has a very deep voice and is the ex-boyfriend of Axyn. He's pretty quiet, and keeps to himself.
"You haven't figured out how to tell her you're gay?"
"What are ours gonna say?"
"Will."
Jaxon is a member of Kamryn's crew. He jokes a lot, and likes Narin.
(joking) "Is this the part where we're offered peanuts?"
"She's been shot. Alive but unconscious."
Lewis is a football player, and has a crush on Hallie. He's not in the book for very long, but he's there nonetheless. He's shy around the smart girl, and feels very intimidated, even though he rises to be much taller than her.
"I, uh, I found this in my project. I believe it's yours?"
"Neat"
Mr. Bosh is the physics teacher
"I have not, Hallie. What do you need it for?"
"Has anyone seen Hallie's gear cover for her project?"
Mr. Mann is the gym teacher, so yeah.
"Today we will be having a free day while some of you finish up the mid-terms."
This man shows the group the mind wipe machine. He's friendly towards them.
"It's a rather small space, but I can show you the gist of the machine."
There are two to three different guards who speak. Personality is up to you.
"Kamryn Balanzetegui. You are under arrest."
(nervously) "I carry a proton rifle, but some of the others have laser guns."
(obviously fake deep voice) "Yes, sir."
"What are they?"
"I don't know who you are, but you better explain what's going on."
This man is a scary Astral who stops Axyn and Abrielle on their way to the mind wipe room.
"Alright. Carry on, kids. Don't wander."
Kamryn/Summer is one of Jordan's friends, and his crush. She's classified as a nerd, but can be very tough and just a little scary.
"Get out before I gut you like a fish." (I would like the words 'gut' and 'you' to combine in a way, like "gutchu" in the pronunciation)
"Welcome to the Ravager."
(sarcastic) "If you look to the left, you will see Dimension Twenty-five in it's natural habitat- The Stream."
Hallie is an innocent little butterfly, never really knowing what's going on.
(confused) "I thought you were straight."
"You're gonna get married, and I'm going to throw the best gay wedding you've ever seen."
"It's been two long years, baby!"
Narin is a chill teenager. She is bald because of something she had as a child, and wears a beanie to cover it up.
(Breathless) "Kamryn said get here as soon as I could."
"To the scanner, I can begin the tests. The first thing I will do is give you a sedative, so....You okay around needles, kid?"
"I don't care, and I'm not even a part of that conversation."
Member of Kamryn's Crew.
"Anyone want to introduce us?"
"Yes, fighting!"
"You know what? I don't care."
Art is a Defender spy inside the Astral facility. She is the one who gets Kamryn's crew into the facility.
"This is Astral Facility Seven asking for contact with the Reliant Ship."
"Astrals are very self-explanatory."
(smug) "It means 'scientist.'"
Ghisha is Hallie's mom (yes, the one who dies quickly), she is the head guard of the Armada. She's strict, and very skilled.
"Report to the Main Deck with Abrielle Gorshen and Axyn Jaha. Do it before I have to force you."
"My guards are clearly superior to your crew."
"What did I always tell you, Axyn? You need to focus. Or you'll lose."
Ms. Chal is the energetic English teacher who still thinks she's cool. We all know people like that.
"That was...brilliant, Ronan! Everyone should write that down."
"Good Morning, class!"
Jordan's long time "friend" who comes in during the physics scene. She is annoying to Jordan, and he doesn't like her at all.
(interrupting Jordan as he works) "Excuse me."
"Aren't you gonna ask what it does?"
Queen Ulena is Axyn's mom. She is only in the epilogue for a little bit.
"You're the one who took my son. And now you're back?"
"You have a lot of explaining to do, young man."
Member of Kamryn's crew who, spoiler, gets killed off quickly. She's soft spoken.
"I don't believe it..."
