Project Overview

This series is recommended for 16+ due to mature and violent themes throughout.

Do not worry if you do not get a part there will be many more opportunities for this project. Since this is my second casting call for this series X3

More about the story:

Resistance is set two years prior into the zombie apocalypse.

The Resistance was born from the remnants of a defunct military organization, this group of individuals refused to bow to the ideals or regulations of any former/existing faction. Their independence was their creed, their territory sacrosanct against all who sought to claim it.

Despite their isolationist stance, they found themselves reluctantly drawn into negotiations with the High Council, formed by three individuals from the Resistance who disagreed with having no government.

An uneasy agreement was soon forged: the High Council divided their lands and people into three main groups — the Silent Stones, the Exiled Rogues, and TSR.

Shortly afterward, the former Resistance faction that had opposed any form of governance became history.

Despite their differences, they were forced to comply with the High Council's rules. To keep the peace, the rules were simple. One must not trespass on the other territories without clear authorization to do so. This rule also applied to the High Council. That was until.. everything changed.

The Three Factions:

The First Faction: The Silent Stones, a group of individuals that are reclusive and harbor little tolerance for outsiders on their territory. They disregard the rules set by the High Council, demonstrating a clear indifference towards their regulations and authority.

The Second Faction: The Exiled Rogues, emerged as a splinter faction from the once-united Resistance, their descent into treachery staining their legacy. Abandoned by their principles, they turned to darker paths, embracing violence and manipulation as their means to an end.

Lastly, The Third Faction: T.S.R, an elite military unit deployed both before and during the apocalypse, charged with the harrowing mission of tracking down and returning escaped test subjects to an illegal laboratory. Operating under the dire circumstances of societal collapse, they executed their duty with ruthless efficiency and unwavering resolve. Each member possessed specialized skills in reconnaissance, combat, and crisis management, essential for navigating the chaotic remnants of civilization. Authorized to use lethal force against non-compliant subjects, they upheld strict protocols to ensure the containment and elimination of any threat posed by these individuals, safeguarding what remained of a crumbling world. But, this faction has never been seen in person.

  • Deadline Extended for The Resistance

    I've extended the deadline to December 12th. So others can audition. I would love it if any of you could share this around; to help this project get more recognition and more of a chance of getting more auditions in. This will hopefully be the first and last update I send.

Jax, the son of the first High Council member, Kairos. After being ridiculed and pushed around after his father's death. He completely changed, pushing himself more toward being an outsider, and a stranger to his own parental guardian, Aria. 

He is cold, harsh, and likes to keep his identity hidden. 

Jax is in his early 20s through the first four episodes and is one of the main characters in the series. He has a medium voice that is a bit rough, but gets rougher and more whispery sounding as he gets older.


This role will be played by two voice actors, one for this version of him, and one for the older version of him.

Second VA: Kamia


Daval, a not so liked member from the lesser branches of T.S.R. Daval has a habit of taking it to far, injuring prisoners to extreme measures at times. He lets power and his arrogance take control, making him rude and harsh to the people around him. 

In his early 40s.

His voice is very deep, and gravelly at times.

(leans in close, whispering with arrogance) "But don’t think for a second that you matter. I can kill you whenever I choose."

  • (Chuckles darkly, almost whispering) "I bet you told her everything would be fine, didn’t you? She believed you, even with a baby in her belly." (pauses, eyes glinting) "But that’s the thing about promises—they’re worthless when you’re dealing with someone like me."

As a child, he went through countless of illegal experiments in a laboratory, gaining the ability to disappear, mimic, and even telepathically speaking through others. After escaping from the laboratory at just the age of fifteen, not much is known about his whereabouts. But when he is around, he tends to help those in some form around them.

Despite his age, he has kept himself anonymous.

You keep that child here, and you’re putting their life, and yours, in grave danger."

  • (Her voice drops, but the frustration is still clear, laced with a sense of betrayal.) "I know you’ve got this whole ‘leader’ thing figured out in your head, but being in charge isn’t about just calling the shots. It’s about making sure your people are safe. It's about understanding the bigger picture. And right now, all I see is someone who’s too wrapped up in their own plans to see what’s really going on."

  • (Her voice cracks with emotion, her anger shifting to a deeper sadness as the weight of the betrayal settles in.) "I don’t even recognize you anymore. You’re so caught up in your own version of leadership, you’ve forgotten the one thing that really mattered. Us. The people Kairos cared about. The people who trusted him, who would’ve followed him to the ends of the earth. And now, it’s like none of that matters to you anymore."

A very twisted individual, or perhaps, a group of people that go by the name, Noxxus.

Noxxus keeps their identity well-hidden, almost to the point that they made themselves to be a Ghost. Noxxus is a very dangerous entity. Good at manipulation and being unpredictable, their purpose is to destroy other individuals, organizations, and even groups from within.


Their voice is deep and gravelly.

  • "I don’t need to threaten you, I need you to understand." (He steps even closer, his presence imposing, his voice a low growl.) "You think because you’re carrying this child that you can control everything around you? You think I’m like the others you’ve manipulated?" (His voice turns colder, his eyes burning with fury.) "I’m not. I’ve killed your kind before. And I’ll do it again, without hesitation."
