Project Overview

A rookie paranormal investigator has been looking into a string of disappearances in his home town, and it looks like all of the disappearances can be traced back to an apartment complex. After looking around he managed to find an old tape recorder apparently belonging to a man named Martin Davies. What will he find when he listens to them?

    The project deadline has been hit and so auditions are now closed! Thank you to everyone who has auditioned, I'll be contacting the chosen voice actor soon with details on the project for payment via PayPal and also sharing the script for the project. If you weren't chosen, don't worry, I did enjoy a lot of the auditions I heard, and Scopaestesia is far from the only project I plan on doing, so there are a couple of you I plan on contacting in the future when I'm able to make more shorts like this one!

  • Extended Deadline and Increased Pay

    So due to me realizing I wasn’t quite happy with the script I’ve extended the script so it’s ended up being longer, and so for both that and increasing the pay to $50 I’m going to be adding another two weeks to the deadline

Martin Davies was born and raised in London, England and at the start of the story is 24, by the end he's 26. Martin is a friendly guy who enjoys meeting people, his voice is something like Martin Blackwood from The Magnus Archives, so something close to his voice would be preferred but not required.

  • You know that feeling you get when you’re being watched? That feeling like a hole is being bored into your back, like you can swear that there’s something behind you but when you turn there’s nothing?

  • (Shaken up, confused tone) I just got back to my flat after…Jesus Christ I don’t even know how to explain what just happened. I guess I’ll just try and explain it from the start, and maybe it’ll make more sense to me when I finish saying it.

  • (Breaking down, panicking) This thing knows! IT KNOWS! THIS BASTARD KNOWS THAT IT JUST NEEDS TO WAIT!
