Project Overview
Evie and Lilli Holmes, two loving sisters who have never left each other’s sides, are forced to move away and desert their beloved hometown in Boston due to their father’s military job and create a new life on the other side of the country. An appropriately named town neglected amid Central Nevada, StrangerVille, has been appointed their new home, and some things don’t seem quite right. As the girls get to know the inhabitants of their newfound home, they meet both Derrick Lecerf, the well-known High School heartthrob, and sweetheart Angela Robertson, who help slowly unravel the deeply woven secrets that have thread the town together for years but kept the town from thriving. Will you join the mission of four young people to save their town and release its people from a terrifying curse?

REQUIREMENTS
A clear mic with little to no background noise
Clear emotion, if needed, repeat the line two to three times to show different takes on the line given.
Ad-libbing and improvising are encouraged! Try not to differ too much from the script.
Meet Deadlines, you’ll be given three to four weeks to deliver your lines. If you are in need of more time, please let me know a week beforehand.
Good communication and dedication is a must. The process of this production will most likely last more than a year. Please be considerate of your schedule and work ethic before auditioning!

Evie is a carefree, typically rebellious 16-year-old who has a passion for coding, gaming and music. Her grades are average, but she pays the least of her attention to her schoolwork. She has an inquisitive nature and always wants to know more about her surroundings and if she doesn’t find out quick enough, she’ll crack. Her hotheaded nature can be easily calmed by putting on a record and playing her favourite video games. The news of her family moving across the country for no good reason has made her uneasy, leaving her wanting to know more. The people of the town are off-putting, and the city oozes an aura of secrecy. She yearns to learn more and uncover the secrets of this so-called town, StrangerVille.

Lilli is a hardworking young woman with a willingness to learn. She’s a big fan of Taylor Swift and coffee but hates dark colours and loud sounds. Her empathic nature causes her to have deep feelings about the things and people around her, but causes her to become overly emotional if she thinks about it for too long. She has a passion for studying and is building her historical knowledge to combat her problems with insomnia. When her family moves to StrangerVille, her prior knowledge of the town and her yearning to learn more and uncover the secrets of this town grow.

Derrick is a well-rounded kid who’s lived in the small town of StrangerVille for his whole life. He loves to play basketball with his foster sibling, Darcy, who moved in a few months ago. His charismatic nature has pulled him into the study of social sciences. He is a loyal best friend who you can always count on and loves to bond with others by cooking with them. When he heard there was a new family moving in a few houses down from his, he couldn’t resist the urge to befriend them. There was something different about them though, especially the youngest in the Holmes household, Evelynn, but this difference was a good difference.

Angela is a young woman with creativity flowing in her veins. She has a passion for artistic expression and decorating things, such as rooms and lockers in the hallway. She has a positive attitude that masks the problems of her father and their relationship back at home. She has built a love for cleaning things over the years and hates seeing things dirty, but if she excerpts her body too much, her Anemia kicks in. She may come off as ditsy, easily distracted and meek, but she is one of the most caring and lovable friends anyone could ever have, especially Evie.
