The Legend of Spike: Discord's Mask Fanfic Reading Chapters 4-6

Hey everyone! Agent Fluffy here! I’m doing a fanfic reading of a fic called The Legend of Spike: Discord’s Mask written by DiabloGuapo! It’s a multichapter crossover based off of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. It’s about Spike trying to save Trotina (the MLP version of Termina) and Clock Town from the incoming apocalypse. Because the entire fanfic itself has 51 characters to audition for, I decided to split it into 6 different casting calls. This one covers chapters 4-6.
This will also be the casting call for 2 people to get the same role. One is the main VA and the other is the understudy.
By the way, this is an unpaid project.
There are some roles available but first, let’s go over the qualifications and rules before sharing what VA roles I need.
Due Dates for Lines (if you are chosen):
Chapter 4: December 11th, 2021 (9:00 PM EST)
Chapter 5: March 12th, 2022 (9:00 PM EST)
Chapter 6: April 7th, 2022 (9:00 PM EST)
Please submit auditions ONLY if you know that if you are chosen you will need to meet these due dates.

Below are the qualifications and rules of the casting call for VAs:
Qualifications:
VAs:
1. You must be 17 years old or older to audition for this project. By submitting your audition to this project you are validating that you have met the age requirement.
2. You must have a decent or good quality microphone. (It doesn't have to be professional studio quality.)
3. I'm also looking for your ability to act as the character(s) you are auditioning for. The voice does not have to be show accurate. Your ability to act the character is most important to me.
4. I'm looking for committed, accountable and reliable VAs that will:
Review the scheduled due dates and submit your audition(s) ONLY if you can meet the scheduled due dates.
Once you have been accepted as part of the team, accountability includes:
Checking in once a week with your status on assignments.
Immediately informing me if you need help or something has happened to change your availability that would put your due dates at risk. This would enable us to work together on a resolution PRIOR to due dates.
READ ALL THE RULES CAREFULLY BEFORE AUDITIONING!
Rules:
VAs:
1. Leave three (3) seconds of silence at the start of your audition recording BEFORE you say the audition lines of each of the character(s) you are auditioning for. This enables me to listen to your background noise and if needed to determine how much background noise I’ll need to remove during your recording.
2. You must have multiple takes in your audition so I can hear your emotional range of your voice. Three (3) takes are required.
3. I require you to send your audition files separately! (Meaning in one file and one character in each of your audition recordings with 3 takes intact for each line (Line 1 3 times, Line 2 3 times, and Line 3 3 times in that order), not one file for each take separately and/or doing all the characters you are auditioning for in one file! Plus I need it to be raw audio.)
4. I require your audition file(s) to be in either wav, mp3, or m4a format for audio (mp4 or wmv for YouTube auditions).

Process
Casting Call: Details of call are in sections noted above.
Casting Call Results: A casting call results video will be released on November 14th (sometime before 11:59 PM EST). At the time of the results, if you are selected, I will immediately need the following from you. Either your email, Skype or Discord
Work: VAs create lines and turn in on or prior to due dates.
Staying in Contact: Weekly touch base on your status. This could be a quick chat, email and/or message.
Production: Once all lines are submitted, I will edit / produce the video.
Release: This fanfic reading will be uploaded on YouTube once it's finished.

Applejack is a hard working earth pony from Sweet Apple Acres. She is the element of honesty. She is a country pony. She speaks in a southern accent. She is headstrong.

(understanding) Ah don’t blame you. (comforting) Come on, Ah’ll fix you breakfast. We’ll start again as soon as you get some food in you.
(sad/heart wrenching) See you… tomorrow… okay?
Rainbow Dash is a brash, confident pegasus and is part of the Wonderbolts. She is very athletic. She is the element of loyalty.

*gasp* Scootaloo? (happy/emotional) Scootaloo! *cry heavily with tears of joy*
(surprised) Whoa, who scheduled the storm? (confused) And I don’t remember the caves being this foggy.
(shout confidently) No, but this will make things more exciting! Well, come on! The last one there is an ugly, old mule!

Matilda is Cranky Doodle Donkey’s wife. She cares about Cranky a lot. She is kind and sweet. She is polite and likes to be fancy. Kind of in a New Orleans accent.

(cry for help in distress) Help! Help! Somepony, help! *grunt in pain* *scream in horror*
(introducing herself) I’m Matilda. *suddenly gasp* (shocked) Oh! Oh my goodness! Zecora! (urgently) Listen, you gotta help me! My friend is hurt and I need help moving her!
(with gratitude) Thank you for helping us, Spike. But, do you suppose that you could help me with something?
He’s another stallion guard who guards Clock Town from Trotina. He takes his job very seriously. He tries to stop Spike from going out of Clock Town. The voice is up to your interpretation.

(begin to order) Halt! Stop right… *yelp in fear*
He’s one of the 2 unicorn guards of the Southern Swamp. He takes his job very seriously.

(firm/shout) Halt, this is the palace of his Royal Majesty, Prince Blueblood! Only those with official business may enter!
(arrogant) Foreign filth, such as yourself, is unwelcomed in the noble home of the unicorns.
(recite policy) Zebras, mules, donkey, earth ponies, pegasi, and all other forms of riffraff are not welcomed here!
He’s one of the 2 unicorn guards of the Southern Swamp. He takes his job very seriously.

He’s the usher in the Southern Swamp. He won’t hesitate to kick Spike out and push him around.

(instruct/serious) Listen, you go through these doors and head straight down the hall to the Prince’s throne room. Don’t go anywhere else, or you’ll be in big trouble, got it!?
(pushy) Hurry, the sentencing is about to begin!
(exclaim) Trial? His Majesty doesn’t bother with such pointless things as that!
Prince Blueblood is an arrogant and pompous unicorn prince who only cares about himself. He doesn’t hesitate to talk down to those that are inferior to him.

(accusing) Cranky Doodle Donkey, you have been found guilty of foalnapping the Lady Rarity and the Lady Sweetie Belle!
(roar/pissed off) Silence! I won’t listen to any more of this foolishness! I’ll give you one more chance; tell us where you’re hiding my fiancée and her sister and I will lessen your punishment!
*growl* (yell/pissed) I thought I made it clear not to mention him again! *shudder* (pissed/arrogant) Ugh, I don’t why I didn’t make you get rid of that disgusting reptile earlier. A dragon walking around the palace, what a disgrace! To think that a brilliant mare, such as yourself, would keep something like that as a pet.
Cranky Doodle Donkey is a grumpy and annoyed donkey who speaks in sarcasms and quips. His wife Matilda brings him joy and happiness.

(rant) I didn’t foalnap anypony, ya imbecilic bastard! I told you! They wanted to investigate the strange things that were happening in the temple, and they asked me to row them there! The entrance became locked and I came back for help!
(protest) You can’t do this! (protest/being dragged away) I’m telling you, they’re in the temple! They’re in the temple!
(whisper/urgent) Good, now go. I have less than twenty-four hours before they deep-fry me. Hurry, before…
