Project Overview
The Legend of Korra is an American animatedtelevision series that aired on the Nickelodeon television network from 2012 to 2014. It was created by Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino as a sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender, which aired from 2005 to 2008. With that being said, it is not without it's flaws. Like most abridged series on YouTube, I'm going to attempt to poke fun at or even approve those flaws. The lines you will be auditioning with are lines from the show. Korra is the current incarnation of the Avatar and immediate successor of Avatar Aang. She is fierce, independent, and pugnacious, but beneath her tough exterior, she possesses a strong loyalty toward her friends and duty as the Avatar.
(crossly) Yeah, you're telling me to embrace freedom but you won't even let me listen to the radio. And forget about leaving this island.
(irritably) Oh! I'm sorry. Did I put you in a difficult position by fighting the giant force of Pure Evil that was going to destroy the whole World? Maybe your administration could've handled that!
(frustratedly) Of course I'm frustrated! A crazy man poisoned me, (voice filled with bitter sarcasm) and now I can't dress myself or cook for myself or do anything for myself, and this whole time my friends have been off helping the World while I'm stuck with you, and you can't even heal me!
Tenzin is the youngest child of Avatar Aang and Katara and the oldest living airbending master. He, more often than not, always has a calm and stern demeanor.
Korra? Look at you. So big and strong. You've grown into quite the young Avatar.
(frustrated) Enough of your ridiculous lies! Can't you see that the fate of the world and Jinora's life depends on what we do here today?
(in awe) Unbelievable. You're actually an airbender.
Mako is a talented firebender from a multicultural family who grew up on the streets of Republic City as an orphan with his younger brother, Bolin. Mako's personality can best be characterized as stoic and brooding.
(passionately) Probending might only be a game to you, but think of what it means to the city. Right now the arena is the one place where benders and non-benders gather together in... in peace.
(skeptically) Sir... That's impossible. There are only five airbenders in the entire World, and your brother is not one of them.
(slightly worried) Shouldn't you be getting ready to... I don't know- rule the whole nation?
Bolin is an earthbender from a multicultural family who grew up on the streets of Republic City as an orphan with his older brother, Mako. He is characterized as being somewhat dimwitted, but having a "heart of gold." His enthusiastic personality led him to becoming an actor.
Bro, you're nuts. Korra and I are perfect for each other. She's strong, I'm strong. She's fun, I'm fun. She's beautiful, I'm gorgeous!
And he's gonna put me in the movers as this hero, Nuktuk. (deepens voice) He's a man of action, (voice softens) but he's got a heart of gold. (dramatically) He was born in the tundra.
Oh, my gosh. (whispers) It's Lord Zuko. (starts to squee) I can't believe it.
Asami is the only child of the wealthy industrialist Hiroshi Sato, who invented the "Satomobile" and whose company, Future Industries, is headquartered in Republic City. is introduced as a sweet, caring, and independent young woman capable of handling adverse situations.
(laughs) It's all right. People usually assume that I'm daddy's helpless little girl, but I can handle myself. I mean, I've been in self defense classes since I was this high. My dad made sure I would always be able to protect myself.
(uncomfortably) Actually, I need to tell you something about that, (awkwardly) and I should've told you this sooner, but...While you were gone, I... kind of... kissed him. I'm sorry

Lin Beifong is the chief of Police of Republic City and the daughter of Toph Beifong, who once held the same position. Lin is tough, uncompromising, and blunt.
That's anciet history... and it's got diddle squat to do with the mess you're in right now. You can't just waltz in here and dole out vigilante justice like you own the place
(blandly) Five kids, what a nightmare.
Right. Why would you need soldiers guarding an empty cavern? They must have them in some kind of suspended prison, so they can't use their earthbending.
