The King in Yellow; A Tragedy in Two Acts (Fan Production)
Project Overview
The wonderful people over at Obsidian Codex Press has very kindly given me permission to create a fan-work adaptation of their new play The King in Yellow: A Tragedy in Two Acts.
This is a 72 page play script, for their imagining of what the true King in Yellow play might read like.
This is going to be a substantial project, and is going to take at least a couple of months.
I have gathered about 80% of the voices I need and have already started working on Act 1 Scene 1, but I am still seeking to fill a few gaps in my cast list.
So if you are a fan of Chambers, other KiY media, or just spooky stories I would love for you to apply and help me make this project a reality.
Voice Actor

If we must shut the gates, let us not shut the heart. Rites may calm a people whom bread cannot quickly feed.
Let there be music and masque, not to mock their grief, but to pronounce our order. When the world is crooked, a straight measure comforts.
(speaking to The Child) Be gentle at the door. It is a fearful thing to speak one's name upon brass.
Voice Actor
‘Daughter of the queen, speaks formally like her mother, soon to be married, worried for her fiance.’

“ Majesty - Mother - of my betrothal. The coastal house stands ready to seal. PRINCE CASSENDRE OF ERTURIA is without the river gate, help upon unsafe roads and a stalled ferry. If the doors should be made fast before he enters- “
I thank you. Within these doors I keep peace, without these doors I sow none.
Mother, if my lord does not come by river before the doors are watched for midnight-
