"The Jungle Book" prequel series
Project Overview
A prequel series to Rudyard Kipling's "The Jungle Book" that essentially shows the lives of the Seoni jungle's inhabitants before the Man-cub entered the wolves' den. Set in my own continuity. Based on the book itself.

Personality: Fierce, loyal, protective.
Voice: Zoe Saldana (Neytiri).
(defiantly) "No!"
"Nice to meet you, Sheranee... Now, let's get you somewhere safe."
"I'm on it, Akela!"
Physical characteristics: Mottled brown and black scales with gold patterns, slitted blue eyes, sixty feet long.
Personality: Wise, loyal, seductive (during hypnosis).
Voice: A mellifluous female voice, like Brina Palencia (Holo).
(seductive chuckle) ... (seductively) "Now, Tabaqui... you know you mussst open your eyesss eventually."
(seductively) "Come now... You know you want to look... To give in... To get lossst in my eyes and voiccce..."
(normal) "No payment is needed, O Chief of the Wolves. Your gratitude is all I require."
Physical characteristics: Black fur with white "V" on chest, brown eyes.
Personality: Wise, gentle, unstoppable if provoked.
Voice: An elderly, but commanding male voice akin to Ian McKellen (Gandalf, Iorek Byrnison).
"Akela, I think it would be wise if we let them be."
"Pita, Raksha, come here. I have something to tell you."
(furiously calm) "Khan, so help me, if you lay a claw on her, I'll tear you to pieces."
Physical characteristics: Red-brown feathers with white head and breast.
Personality: Kind of a deadpan snarker, adventurous, focused.
Voice: A voice akin to James Arnold-Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi).
(out of breath) "I'm here! I'm here... (deep breath) Did I miss anything?"
"The Truce! The Truce!"
(deadpan) "Baloo, don't tell me I flew all this way for nothing."
Physical charcteristics: Gold fur, green eyes.
Personality: Kind, protective, brave.
Voice: A voice akin to Rachel Weisz's Saphira.
(meekly) "Thank you."
(meekly) "Sh- Sheranee."
(angrily) "Stand back, Khan!"
Physical characteristics: Grey skin, brown eyes, huge tusks, scars all over body.
Personality: Patient, wise, orderly.
Voice: An elderly, but commanding and booming voice akin to Christopher Lee (Saruman, Count Dooku) or James Earl Jones (Mufasa, Darth Vader).
"Shere Khan, what have I told you about killing during the Water Truce?"
"The Moon Blossom grows over on the island in the middle of Magar-log Lake."
"I am the keeper of The Law of The Jungle. I decide the fates of all who break it."
Physical characteristics: Reddish-orange fur, brown eyes.
Personality: Belligerent, controlling, cunning.
Voice: A villainous female voice similar to Angelina Jolie (Maleficent) or Tilda Swinton (The White Witch).
(menacingly) "Looks like we got us some trespassers... I hate trespassers."
"Get them!"
"Nevermind the young ones! We'll take Akela and the lioness instead!"
Physical characteristics: Orange fur with black stripes, red eyes.
Personality: Sadistic, brutal, relentless.
Voice: A deep villainous voice akin to Benedict Cumberbatch's Smaug (see behind-the-scenes performance)
"Shut your trunk, Old One. I kill when I wish, where I wish."
(evil chuckles, then rise into a full-on evil, maniacal laugh) "Well, Kaa... I'm afraid your charms have no effect on me. And if trickery is how we're going to play..." (evil laugh, then furious pouncing grunt)
(angrily) "It was Man who took my mate from me! Their Red Flower burned our home! And so I kill all Men who dare cross the Tiger King himself!"
Physical characteristics: Dark grey scales, green eyes.
Personality: Brutal, savage, beastly.
Voice reference: A gruff voice akin to Sam Elliott's (Butch, The Stranger)
(menacingly) "It's been ages since I've had wolf... I can almost remember how good it tastes." (Evil chuckle)
"Get the fur-bearers! Don't let them escape!"
"Yes, yes, Hathi, I know the Law."
Physical characteristics: Red fur, green eyes.
Personality: Fun-loving, a teeny bit hyper.
Voice: A raspy voice akin to Ashleigh Ball's Rainbow Dash.
"We're going to the falls. Want to come?"
(cheerfully) "Wait for me!"
"Nice one, Pita!"
Appearance: Brown scales with black markings, red eyes, fifty feet long.
Personality: Charming, deceptive, seductive (during hypnosis).
Voice reference: Jude Law's Pitch Black.
(seductively) "Jussst rest, little wolf. Sssssleep now..."
(with hatred) "Kaa! You and your wolf friend are making me quite... irritable."
(seductively/ominously) "Raksha, my dear, you don't have to worry about anything... anymore..."
Physical characteristics: Silver fur, grey eyes.
Personality: Noble, protective, wise.
Voice: Regal and commanding, but soothing and warm at the same time. Think Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime) or Liam Neeson (Aslan, Zeus).
"This is the Law of The Jungle, as old and as true as the sky. The Wolf that keeps it may prosper, but the Wolf that breaks it must die. As the creeper that girdles the tree trunk, the Law runneth forward and back. For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack."
"Our den is your den for the time being."
(loathing) "You know the Law as well as I do, Shere Khan."
Physical characteristics: White fur, blue eyes.
Personality: Bold, headstrong, fearless.
Voice: A typical teenage girl voice. Think Tiya Sircar (Juniper, Sabine) or Alexandra Daddario (Annabeth Chase).
(scoffing) "Like you can take us on?"
(teasingly) "Still think she's scary?"
(with hatred) "That tiger will pay!"
Physical characteristics: Orange-brown fur, gold eyes.
Personality: Cunning, sneaky, conniving.
Voice: A villainous voice akin to Tom Hiddleston (Loki) or Rupert Everett (Prince Charming, The Fox).
(ominously) "Well, well, well, what have we here? A couple of... delicious young wolves... ripe for the killing.
"Precisely why I've brought HIM along."
(nervous chuckle) (nervously) "Well, I can see you're busy, so I'll just be going now."
Physical characteristics: Brown fur, green eyes.
Personality: Cocky, brash, a bit jock-ish
Voice: A very slight "surfer-dude" accent. Look to Matt Hill's Chinook and Soarin' for inspiration.
"Well? What do you say, guys?"
"I'm afraid me and the others have found... a new leader..."
"It's the dholes! Run!"
Physical characteristics: Black fur, gold eyes.
Personality: Kind, loyal, a bit cowardly.
Voice: A typical male teenage voice. Think Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson) or Justin Long (Humphrey, Patchi).
(worried) "You sure we should be doing this?"
"No, but her hypnosis still creeps me out."
(defiantly) "I'm done running from you!"
Physical characteristics: White feathers with black wingtips, red eyes.
Personality: Brave, loyal, helpful.
Voice: A voice similar to Jay Baruchel (Hiccup).
"Chil is away hunting at the moment. I'll gladly serve as his substitute."
"Raksha! Pita! There!"
"Go! I'll distract him!"
Physical characteristics: White fur with black stripes, red eyes, claw marks over muzzle.
Personality: Wicked, vile, cruel.
Voice: A voice somewhat similar to Tabitha St. Germain's Nightmare Moon.
(angry) "Bagheera! Get out of the way!"
"So be it... Kill them!"
(evil laughter)
