Project Overview
The Jax Show is a fan-made, non-canon 3D and 2D animated “The Amazing Digital Circus” spin-off series.
Based on the original animated series “The Amazing Digital Circus” by Gooseworx; Presented by Glitch Productions.

Plot:Updated plot: Jax gets the chance to host a late-night talk show with a groovy 70s aesthetic. With Caine as his co-host, chaos is bound to happen as the two take you through the decades from the classic 50s to the slammin' 90s!
However, behind Jax’s back is the uprising of a new threat to his show that tests his patience and causes him to lose his mind, showing his true colors to his adoring audience.
Join Jax and the gang in this funky, chaotic, music-filled adventure that makes the audience get up and dance along! (…literally…)

Casting Call Info:Each character's audition has 3 lines. If the character needs a certain emotion, it will be listed with the line. A minimum of 1-2 takes is ideal for each line.
**Please be aware that this is a long-term project that can take 3+ years or so to complete, as there will be 7 episodes! Only audition if you’re committed! If you must step down at some point in the series, please let the director or a producer know so we can plan accordingly! We understand!**
KEEP IN MIND THERE WILL BE MORE CHARACTERS TO CAST IN THE FUTURE FOR EPISODE 2 AND SO ON! (Characters such as: Gummigoo, Sun, Moon, Princess Loolilalu, Chad, Ghostly, Martha Mildenhall, Max, and more!)
Again, be aware that this is a voluntary job, and you MUST be over 18+ to audition!
Please carefully read the description for the character, as some of them require an extra sample to be included with the audition.
Carefully listen to the sample provided with the link in the character description!
Please submit clear recordings! (No background noise and a clear voice! Before submission, please revise your audio!)
Auditions with poor quality, background noise, or muffled sounds will NOT be considered!
Previous experience is not required, but it will give you a boost in getting cast! (If you’re new, you’re still welcome to audition! We want passionate TADC fans to audition that will show their dedication to this project!)
To audition for DJ’s character, we prefer a POC (PERSON OF COLOR; SPECIFICALLY OF BLACK DESCENT) for the role, due to DJ being heavily influenced by Will Smith in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
If the character requires an extra sample (such as maniacal laughter, yelling, or screaming), please provide it with your audition.
Emotional range is a HUGE aspect for The Jax Show, especially for roles such as Jax, Zooble, Pomni, etc.
You may audition for more than one character!

Example: LinkZooble is Jax’s rival in “The Jax Show,” often irritated by his antics towards themselves and the others. Already frustrated in having to take part in Caine’s adventures against their will, this adventure is Zooble’s final straw, causing them to take advantage of the situation to their own benefit, and to get back at Jax…

Caine is the chaos coordinator… or so he thinks. "The Jax Show" was the less chaotic option from the suggestion box, according to himself… Zooble has a much more DaNgErOuS idea. In “The Jax Show,” he attempts to bring all the attention onto himself, and does everything possible to get Jax’s approval so he can hopefully get an interview.

Pomni plays the part of Jax’s assistant in his talk show, often finding herself frustrated with Jax’s inability to follow her instructions to help manage his program. After Pomni’s attempts to remedy the many problems that arise, things take an unexpected turn for Jax…

Mic is one of the original character NPCs for “The Jax Show,” created to be the show's live announcer. Charismatic and polite, speaking in a loud transatlantic accent, Mic is often the contrast to the chaos of the program. Although he tries to keep Jax’s behavior in check, Mic is often annoyed with his inability to do so.

Vocal Tone: 21 years old, androgynous, mid-high range
Delivery: East Coast urban with lots of usage of 90’s slang, carefree, and charismatic
Range: DJ swings between laid-back comic relief and loud intensity, “life of the party”

DJ is the second original character NPC in “The Jax Show” created to be the literal “DJ” for the program. Unlike Mic, they are much more easygoing with the chaos of the circus, even engaging in it with music, dance numbers, and awkward bouts of outdated 90s slang to lighten the mood. DJ wants to ensure that everyone is having a good time. Everyone loves DJ!

Gangle is the stark contrast to Jax, and is often the main target for bullying by him. In “The Jax Show,” she is the art critic, but usually gets shut down by Jax before she can give any real opinions. Gangle later gets recruited by another member of the circus for a mystery mission…

Example: LinkKinger is the father figure of the group, and usually stays out of the problems that arise within the talk show (mostly because he’s, well… probably unaware of them happening.) In “The Jax Show,” Kinger presents fun segments about bugs, which cause more issues within the program (but again… he’s probably unaware of this. Probably.)
