The Horror of Oz
Project Overview
What is this?
This project is for my special Halloween video titled “The Horror of Oz”. This is made in collaboration with the Kamin Science Center, Universal Horror Unleashed and The Sphere - Las Vegas.
The Story
While tending to the crops, a sudden storm whisks Taylor to a world full of hostile monsters. Will Taylor be able to solve the mystery, escape the nightmares and find a way home?
Requirements
You must have a good microphone that can pick up little to no background noise.
FAQs
Wait! Why are there only two roles?
Excellent question! There are only two roles because there were only two live performers during the post-show for “The Wizard of Oz at Sphere”.
So why exactly are you using audition lines here? You normally don’t do this with your other projects!
I’m glad you noticed! The answer is simple: these are the only voiced lines I am using for this video!
Why is the deadline so short?
I want to try and have the video done by Halloween.
That’s everything for now, but if any further questions arise, I’m happy to help! Just don’t mention monsters.
Good luck and have fun!

The guard will be the one directing Taylor to the Wizard of Oz for help getting home. Notes: He should sound like the Emerald City guard from the 1939 film “The Wizard of Oz”. Since this is a one-liner, I will be using your audition line in the video itself.

[You have been asked by Taylor if there’s a way she can get home.] Why, you’re standing right next to the Wizard of Oz himself! Why don’t you ask him?
The wizard is nothing but a humbug here, but he helps Taylor get home. Note: Since these are the only lines you have, your audition lines will be used for the video itself.

[You’ve just been asked by Taylor how she can get home.] My dear Taylor, you’ve had the power to go home all this time. Your ruby shoes contain magical powers.
[Taylor realizes that’s why the monsters were hostile to her.] Yes! All you have to do to get home is click your heels three times and say, “There’s no place like home.”
