NOTE: This show deals with topics like s**c*de, date r*pe, homophobia, bullying, gun violence, and bombs. If you're are uncomfortable with any of this, DO NOT AUDITION. Since the subjects are too central to the plot to be transformed, the musical will be performed as written. The only possible changes will be the insults yelled during the opening number. Also, auditionees must be comfortable with cursing. Veronica and JD MUST be 18+! Also, if you're under 16, this is going to be a bit too mature so audition with discretion.

There will be no judgement between gender identity and the role being auditioned for. Anyone can play anyone. However, do be aware that pronouns in the show will not change. Ensemble parts will all be made gender neutral as well.

"Burns to be both cool and kind, but doesn't know how to be both at the same time. Fierce sense of right and wrong, keen sense of ironic humor. Think's she's an old soul, but she's still innocent enough to be blindsided by love or shocked by cruelty."

[End of the show, after JD's death. She is essentially asking for Martha's forgiveness.] "My date for the pep rally kind of blew... me off. So I was wondering if you weren't doing anything tonight, maybe we could pop some Jiffy Pop, rent a video? Something with a happy ending?"

[Breaking into Veronica's room with his new master plan. Very sarcastic.] "Knock, knock! Sorry to come in through the window. Dreadful etiquette, I know."

[When Veronica refuses to join in the bullying of Martha] "You don't get to be a nobody. Come Monday, you're an ex-somebody. Not even the losers will touch you now. Transfer to Washington. Transfer to Jefferson. No one at Westerberg's going to let you play their reindeer games. I know who I'm eating lunch with on Monday. Do you? [pause] Okay party people! Where's the goddamn keg?!"

Stoner Kid: Smokes outside with the freaks in between classes. Their future's so bright they gotta wear shades to hide their bloodshot eyes.
Young Republican: A tennis-playing, perky Student Council type.
