“The Good Ol’ Days!”.... This is my pitch!
Synopsis:
A brilliant physicist Dr. Malcolm Bowmen has spent his life trying to disprove religion. After inventing the world’s first time machine, he takes on the ultimate mission: to travel back over 2,000 years and expose Jesus as a fraud. Armed with modern science, historical knowledge, and a camera, Malcolm sets out to document the truth behind what he believes to be the greatest myth in human history.
However, what begins as a smug quest turns into a journey of doubt, awe, and revelation. Witnessing the teachings, miracles, and crucifixion firsthand, Malcolm is confronted with a reality that science can’t explain.
Torn between the world he left behind and the truth he never expected, Malcolm must make a choice that will not only determine his future—but the future of humanity.
“The Good Ol’ Days!” is a mind-bending, emotionally charged sci-fi drama that dives into faith and skepticism, and how the search for truth can lead us to the very thing we were trying to disprove.
Now you, yes you! We need you! We need any and all skills you are willing to participate for this project! We need artists, animators, story boarders, actors, composers, leaders, writers, and more!
Now, I know what you're thinking, “what's in it for me?” Well for starters, you will be helping me spread the love of Jesus by offering up your skills and time in a community of indie creators that lacks His message; and, my hope is that if or when we start to get money off of this channel or specifically, this show. I want to find a way to split the money 50-50. 50% to split with the team, and 50% to go towards new films and potential series! So the more money we make from this, the more I’ll be giving back to you guys and the channel! So unfortunately, I don’t have an estimated amount to give you guys. I’m sorry for that. :( I, however, don’t intend to keep any of it. I want all the money I make from this channel to go back into it to make both better films and spread the Gospel! God's glory is more important than any amount of cash.
And yes! If you are wondering, all future films and series that I want to make will have Christian faith and ideology in them! So will the stories my sister is cooking up.
Now to better understand, I am a Christain, born in a Christain family and choose to worship Jesus. I love Jesus with all my heart, and with all the stuff going around in the world and all of the false, or miss interpretations of the Bible, I want to make a film about my faith. What Biblical times actually were like back then, their language, their culture, the whys, the wheres, and the hows.
Now, some ground rules if you are considering helping us out! First, you will need Discord. I will make updates there for upcoming auditions whenever we need more people. You will also be able to talk to like-minded individuals and make some friends! Secondly, please when you audition, add your Discord name so I know who you are. This is also the code word. So please do not forget it in your audition description.

Dr. Malcolm Bowmen is the main character for this movie. His goal is to prove that Jesus was a fraud. So he makes a time watch to go back into time and record all of Jesus' stories to prove his theory. However, as he witnesses the death and resurrection of Jesus, his mind changes.
Malcolm is a confident young adult in his late 20s. He is a physicist teacher in a University somewhere in BC Canada. He was born and raised in the Uk and moved to Canada after he finished his education. His whole life he grew up around Christians, but he himself, could never trust a god he couldn't see.
Malcolm has a warm British accent.

Jesus is a kind soul who loves all of his people. He is the prophesized King of the Jews who came to earth to save all his people and many others.
He used to be a wood carpenter, but soon followed what his father in heaven asked of him.
One of the Lead roles. You must have a Hebrew accent and be able to pronounces Hebrew words fairly well.

A high pitch voice, young, late teens, and has a bit of energy.
Judas is always questioning Jesus about how he runs the group when it comes to finances, this very thing may lead Judas to make some bad decisions.
Judas used to sell properties to rich people and was called to follow Jesus during a dark moment in his life after a failed sell that would cost him his life.
Must be able to have a Hebrew accent a pronounce some of the words.

Has a little bit of a temper, has a tougher voice, but not deep. One of the older disciples and is married. Near his mid to late 20s and is extremely protective of the other disciples and Jesus.
Peter used to be a fisher men, however, after meeting Jesus, is whole life changed, including his name changing from Simon to Peter.
Again, you should be able to do a Hebrew accent and pronounce some Hebrew words.

James is a very strong man with large muscles; however, he has a larger heart. He is very gentle and kind and wouldn't hurt a fly.
James has a deep--warm voice that could calm the most disturbed. He at times is known as the listener in the group.

This James is a lot older, he is one of the older disciples with more experience. He tends to be more calm and listens to what Jesus is teaching, not saying. James listens more than he talks.
James has a high voice, but matured.

Matthew is a strange fella. He has OCD and must have everything organized at ALL times. Everything has to be neat and clean. This fits very well since the man used to be a tax collector.
Mathew tends to ask himself why he left the comfortability of his life for Jesus, but than quickly reminds him why he did. It was because Jesus saved him from himself when he was lost.
Matthew has a high voice and is one of the younger disciples, so more in his teens. He is a lot more loud, but for good reasons, as its the only way the others will listen to him.

Also known as Peter's brother, Andrew is an exciting man. He is the joker of the group who loves to play around! This is shocking, however, since Andrew is one of the older disciples, yet, still isn't old enough to pay the churches taxes.
Andrew loves to laugh and make others laugh. He is also very rebellious! He hates Romans and loves the idea of rebellion against them.
Andrew has a high pitched voice that sounds a bit funny and cracky.
