I'm making a small storyboard project called "The Golden Thief" (on a long hiatus, prob not a surprise but I had 0 experiense doing projects with others beside one other personal project)
- This is my second time making a full on project with voice actors to voice some characters.
- If you are approved for a certain character, I will try my best to be in contact with you to show what I'm looking for in the following character.
- As you can see I'm not funding, not because I don't want to but because I don't have much to offer.
The project will most likely be posted here and will most likely be promoted on other platforms.
- If you want me to promote your socials and such along with the project, just ask and give me the name/ links on the desired social so I can add it to the end of the project and in the description where people will know where to find other works.
Stuff to note
- (There's slight cursing; probably like once or twice, but in case people don't want to be saying that here's your warning.)
- the reason the due date is a few months away is because, I'm just getting back to the project and realized I didn't like how the beginning looked, so I'm basically just starting.
- If you have a question on what direction you should take with line from the script, just ask in the project messages or regular messages, I'll be happy to answer.
- Before going up online, you will of course be the first to see the final project. Not just to see and enjoy it, but also to see if there's anything I should/ could change.
- I'm still in school, so if I take awhile to get back to you or if the project is taking awhile, it's also because I have work to do. Other than that, you can asks about progress if you so please :).
Lately I've been very busy with moving and school stuff so I haven't had time to work on the project, I've also been very burnt out lately so I'm just trying to work on small things until I can work up to the main project.

Speaking of which, I have been off for a few days, but I do have a few backgrounds done and I am almost finished with the opening scene.
Other than that, I' will be continuing to work on the art and animation for this.

This is the main character/ lead role of the story -
I need someone who'll be able to come off as cold and who'll be able to show true emotion when needed.
This character has a soft but stern slightly feminine voice.
Plum has a cold tone to them but, they still have that bit of emotion in their voice, which is mostly from them being stern and sometimes angry (They're short tempered.)
“We were so close to having them just where we wanted them. Nar (Nah-er), you’re supposed to keep up with me and the action! Otherwise how are we supposed to catch the thief? ”
“You know I can’t promise that, Sergeant.”
"Nar?... N-nar this isn't funny, wake up. Wake up ... please, I can't lose you like this. .."
Partner Nar is A more soft character, She is kind and more emotional.
So I'm looking for someone who can pull off a soft and maybe even concerned tone for this character.
I also need this person to be able to portray her emotion, like her sadness.
”I’m trying Plum, you know I can’t keep up with you! "
“So what's the new plan Detective? What should we do now to capture this thief?”
Character sound weak in this line -- "it's alright, Plum. Just get the thief and come back for me later, I'm sure the police and other detectives will find me."
Xiao tries to be tough, be he's still quite soft towards his workers. He has a Gruff but soft voice.
(He doesn't have many lines)
“Detective plum you can’t keep failing these missions, people are starting to think we don’t know what we're doing, ...-"
Well eventually I’ll have no choice but to do so, so please just think about what you’re doing. I don’t want to lose one of my best detectives because you keep breaking the station rules.”
“You never can… This is your last chance, please at least act professional, detective.”
Doug is the S.O of plum the detective, His personality is bubbly/ childish but can become serious when needed. He sounds as if he's a young adult/adult (20-25yr). He doesn't have many lines.
"Sugarplum, where are you? You didn't come home last night and it had me worried. I called you multiple times with no answer from you!..."
"I thought you said, 'you were sure to catch them this time'. You were quite confident in that statement."
"Mmm, alright. Just don't overwork yourself again. Bye, Sugar."
One of the detectives - Grey has a calm demeanor and soft tone of voice, sorta a midlow voice
"and what makes you think I'm not busy preparing for my own mission with my partner? "
"But detective we just- (pause) got here…"
Valentine has a soft and a more higher pitch voice. it's not high by much
"You know you don’t have to say good morning to me, Miss. Nar. You already have."
"young Valentine, at your service!"
"I may be a rookie, but eventually I'll be running the place just like detective plum!"
