A year after narrowly escaping a horrific tragedy, a survivor named Tate returns to her hometown, burdened by the trauma of that night and the loss of those closest to her. Determined to rebuild her life, she enters university, but rumors and accusations cast a shadow over her attempts to move forward. When a newcomer is pushed into befriending her under false pretenses, unexpected connections begin to form, forcing them both to confront buried truths and dangerous intentions.
The Girl Who Saw Too Much is a crime-thriller drama, story-driven Minecraft roleplay series (MCRP) that will run exclusively on YouTube. Kind of like a TV show but made in Minecraft. Each episode will span approximately 20-30 minutes, 2 seasons total about 20 episodes each. Writing is in progress. This show is based off of my previous project THE HOUSE IN THE WOODS which can be watched here: https://youtu.be/3Ye-HK6LRv4?si=AMJyehbiCFDM4gRq
I am incredibly excited to see your auditions and welcome you to join me in bringing this mystery to life.
For those who make the cut me and Haley consider the following: tone, delivery of emotion and voice pitch that we think fits best for the character. We also heavily consider mic quality. If you have a great microphone but you're not picked it's mainly because we're looking for specific emotion delivery and pitch of voice!Thank you to everyone who's auditioned so far. We may share a bracket sheet after casting if anyone is interested to see where they placed!
For any characters that still don't have the right va their deadline will be extended!
What are the requirements for this project?
Audio Quality: You must have a microphone with minimal background noise. It doesn’t need to be professional-grade, but the audio quality must be clear and consistent. I prefer if all auditions use similar microphones ie Audio Technica, Yeti or Shure microphones as I wish this project to be as cohesive as possible. My co casting director Haley (Aka WarmKitty100) will be helping me decide who will be casted by making sure Microphone's match each other.
Discord: You’ll need to have Discord and be comfortable joining our studio server. This will be the central hub for communication, script distribution, and submitting lines.
Commitment: A long-term commitment is required. This project requires dedication for the long term. If you audition, please be ready to stay with the project for its full duration. I prefer not to recast roles once they’re assigned because I'd like to keep consistency throughout the project.
Deadlines: Meeting deadlines is essential. Typically, I’ll aim to give you about a week to submit your lines, though some deadlines may be shorter depending on production needs. If you have scheduling conflicts (e.g., vacations, illness), just let me know in advance so we can work around it.
When Auditioning: Feel free to introduce yourself briefly in your audition. It’s not required, but I would like to get to know you as a VA. Include 2-3 takes for each line, with some variation in tone, delivery, or interpretation. Going off script is welcome at the end if you feel inspired—it’s a great way to showcase creativity. List what microphone you're using!
Unpaid project but if you require Paid commissions you can discuss the budget with me once / and if casted. The commission price has to be based on what I can do with my budget and eventually the project's outcome!
Do not wait till last minute to audition. If something happens IRL and I have to cast early, I will not be able to reopen even if Jan 24th is the current deadline. I have a lot of IRL things that will be happening due to a wedding event coming up in May so there's a high chance that casting could happen early.
What happens if I’m casted?
If you’re casted for a role, I’ll contact you via the platform you auditioned on (Casting Call Club, Discord, or Twitter, depending on what’s provided in your profile). Once casted, you’ll be invited to our Discord studio server, where you’ll gain access to scripts, deadlines, and other production updates.
For roles not listed on this casting call, I’ll reach out to you directly if I feel you’d be a good fit for an unlisted character or as an extra. Keep an eye on this page for updates, as additional roles may be added as production progresses.
Thank you for taking an interest in The Girl Who Saw Too Much. This story is a deeply personal and ambitious project of mine, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to bring it to life with a talented team along with the other projects (which is only 2) that I'm working on. I look forward to hearing your auditions and working with you to tell this mysterious and thrilling tale.
Feel free to DM me if you have any questions.
This project will officially air on my channel on February 2025!
