The Freaks of Laurel Creek: Thesis Film
Project Overview
Looking for voice actors to play the roles of Luke the werewolf, Jack the satyr, and Liz the witch in my upcoming senior thesis. Based on my dramedy adult cartoon concept, "The Freaks of Laurel Creek," the film follows three abnormal friends as they dysfunctionally try hunting a demon. It will be roughly two and a half minutes in length and the projected date of completion is December 2024.

Luke Ramirez is a neurodivergent 15 year old that's a bit too high strung for his own good due to his unfortunate case of lycanthropy. When there's not a full moon however, Luke is quite clever, kind, and resourceful despite his scrawny and awkward nature. His friends never take him or his "condition" too seriously though, and (often forcibly) encourage Luke to loosen up.
NOTE: Luke is a first generation Mexican-American. For the sake of proper representation, it is preferred his voice actor be of Hispanic descent. PLEASE NOTE THIS IN YOUR APPLICATION'S DESCRIPTION WHERE APPLICABLE. Applications that do NOT comply with this guideline are less likely to be considered. However, if this guideline does not apply to you, I encourage you to look at Jack's role instead, as his guidelines are looser.
His voice should be in the medium to high register, notably higher when being defensive. When he's not defensive, he's often exhausted or defeated after putting up with Liz and Jack’s shenanigans.

You know what, I’ll take it.
Liz is a peppy 15 year old witch with an explosive personality... especially considering her out-of-control pyrokinesis ability. Her ADHD makes her a bit scatterbrained, but her (sometimes misplaced) burning desire to support her friends always shines through, even if she's seemingly the only thing keeping their band of freaks together.
NOTE: Liz's voice should be in the medium-to-high register, brimming with bottomless energy and a readiness for adventure of any kind, even if it's just a trip to the StoreMart.

Jaaack, don’t you have something you’d like to say to Luke?
Jack Harper is a cynical 16 year old satyr who's "stuck" being friends with a "pathetic" werewolf and a "walking liability" of a witch. Nevertheless, he greatly enjoys pushing every single one of Luke's buttons he can find and fanning the flames of Liz's chaos. Deep down, Jack is secretly grateful for the others' company, but his stubborn pride would never admit it.
NOTE: Jack's voice should be in the medium-to-lower register and his line delivery will often come across as prideful and arrogant.
