INTRO

Hello! I'm the owner of a youtube channel called The Lightspeed Project. We work on dubbing comic dubs and occasionally doing gaming videos.

We currently are trying to branch into different fandoms, such as:
MHA, Undertale (And it's AU's), and Madness Combat. We also already have roles for all the Sonic characters.

We don't have a lot of voice actors who would fit the characters for most of the new fandoms we're branching into, so we're looking for them now!

I'll give examples of the voice I'm looking for in the audition roles, but I am always open to hearing other interpretations of what the character would sound like.

You'll be given access to a separate server if your audition is chosen, that discord is private.

ROLE INFORMATION:


First things first: THIS IS AN ENTIRELY UNPAID PROJECT. It's mainly a passion project by a group of teenagers, so we couldn't pay anyone if we wanted to. BUT. If this channel begins turning a significant profit (don't count on it), payment will be open to renegotiation.
These roles are all more permanent roles, but of course, you can step down from any role at any time. At which point, your role would be recast.
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF VOICE ACTING ROLES: MAJOR and MINOR. These roles are assigned depending on the popularity of the character in the fandom as a whole. The more popular characters, such as Dream and Nightmare, will get MAJOR roles. Smaller characters that don't show up as much, like Ccino or... pretty much any variant that isn't a sans or papyrus, will get MINOR roles.
For variety and to give more VA's a chance, you can have a max of 3 MAJOR roles per fandom as well as an unlimited number of MINOR roles.

  • Must be 13+

  • If you decide to use a voice effect for a character, please leave in the unedited takes.

  • Please include your discord in the audition!

  • You can audition for and get more than one character! If you want to audition for more than one character, please audition separately!

I'm looking for a voice kind of like Jay Walker from Ninjago. I'm looking for a higher, warmer, more energetic voice with him. I want him to directly contrast with Nightmare. While Nightmares voice is deeper, colder, calculated, and darker, Dreams voice should be higher, warmer, and more energetic. He should sound like someone who brings hope. I definitely want him to sound masc, not femme though. He should also sound pretty mature. I also like Dipper's voice from Gravity Falls for him. And also Chongyun from Genshin.
