INTRO

Hello! I own a youtube channel called The Lightspeed Project. We work on dubbing comic dubs and occasionally doing gaming videos. We don't really have any videos out yet, but I'm currently working on editing one and we're trying to be more active.

We currently are trying to branch into different fandoms, such as:
MHA, Undertale (And it's AU's), and Madness Combat. We also already have roles for almost all the Sonic characters.

We don't have a lot of voice actors who would fit the characters for most of the new fandoms we're branching into, so we're looking for them now!

I'll give examples of the voice I'm looking for in the audition roles, but I am always open to hearing other interpretations of what the character would sound like.

ROLE INFORMATION:

First things first: THIS IS AN ENTIRELY UNPAID PROJECT. It's mainly a passion project by a group of teenagers, so we couldn't pay anyone if we wanted to. BUT. If this channel begins turning a significant profit (don't count on it), payment will be open to renegotiation.

You will be expected to voice LGBTQIA content with pretty much any role because the characters are canonically queer, if you have a problem with that please do not proceed.
These roles are all more permanent roles, but of course, you can step down from any role at any time. At which point, your role would be recast.
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF VOICE ACTING ROLES: MAJOR and MINOR. These roles are assigned depending on the popularity of the character in the fandom as a whole. The more popular characters, such as Simon and Baz, will get MAJOR roles. Smaller characters that don't show up as much, like Baz’s Mother or... pretty much any character that isn’t the main six will be minor roles.
For variety and to give more VA's a chance, you can have a max of 3 MAJOR roles per fandom as well as an unlimited number of MINOR roles.


GUIDELINES:

  • Don't slate

  • Must be 13+

  • If you decide to use a voice effect for a character, please leave in the unedited takes.

  • Please include your discord in the audition!

  • You can audition for and get more than one character! If you want to audition for more than one character, please audition separately!

I feel like his voice would be more in the medium range, and it would of course be a very passionate voice. I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for with him. I remember when I read the book I loved him but I honestly don't remember much about him other than he's very passionate and kind, so I'm thinking a warm voice? He's also a very funny character, from what I remember. He's very cheery.

I think her voice would be on the higher side, somewhere between medium-high and high. She's kind of mean and sarcastic. Though she is a mage, she doesn't feel like she belongs in the world of mages. The responsibilities of this role would include:
Making comics for the channel.
That's about it. It's mostly a way to make comics and get your work out there in a different medium for you, and a way for us to get 'first come first serve', let's say. To be notified when your comics come out and work directly with the artist. So, this role wouldn't require you doing much more work then what you were already doing.

If you want, this could also include mini-character animations in the outro of the characters in the video hanging out, but that's not required. Or just smaller art pieces.
This role will not be assigned until the deadline because we want multiple people for this role!
