MINOR ROLES/EXTRAS NEEDED! The Dreamside Chronicles - A Cucumber Quest Fandub
Project Overview
HELLO EVERYONE!!!
this is a casting call for a fandub of the webcomic "cucumber quest" by gigidigi!
this is also my first time directing a project, so please bear with me... (i may need some help directing a project of this magnitude.)
there are a lot of roles to fill, so please consider auditioning! if you don't get one of the bigger roles, that's okay! there's a lot of extras that need voices, too!
if the first two chapters of cucumber quest do well, then i'll put up another casting call for the next few chapters!
of course, this is unpaid because this is a fandub, but you will be credited with your social media links in the description of the youtube video i will upload!
it's highly recommended that you join this project's discord server here, as this is where we'll be working together if you make the cut!
RULES
- all auditionees must be thirteen or older to audition.
- please have a good/decent quality microphone! low quality audio will NOT be accepted!
- i can only edit so much background noise out of your lines, so please try to limit it.
- respect your cast members/crew or you will be kicked off of the project team.
- some characters have a headcanoned voice. i am open to original interpretation, but i would prefer auditions to be close to the headcanoned voice.
- familiarity with the plot of cucumber quest is preferred, but it's fine if you're unfamiliar with the plot. you can read cucumber quest online here: http://cucumber.gigidigi.com
- PLEASE list your discord tag in your audition comment. that's where we'll be communicating.
- DO NOT slate your auditions.
- please provide 2-3 takes for your audition lines. i'll accept 1-2 takes for longer lines.
- of course, THERE WILL BE CUCUMBER QUEST SPOILERS IN THE AUDITION LINES! if you don't want to be spoiled, PLEASE READ CUCUMBER QUEST BEFORE YOU AUDITION!

"Bacon was a member of the BLT Trio before she was kicked out by Sir Tomato. Bacon now plays Pancetta in Pretty Protector Punisher Pumice. She is the only known person in the Doughnut Kingdom named after meat and has a distinctly pig-like appearance... Bacon is a bit slow on the uptake and often messes up, but she always tries her best to do what people want her to do. She laughs at almost everything and is overall good-natured, if somewhat mislead by Sir Tomato and Dame Lettuce. I don't have a specific voice headcanon for Bacon, so go nuts!
NOTE: Bacon is heavily implied to be transgender (MTF), so I would prefer that a transgender individual audition for the role. Anybody is welcome to audition for her, though!
