Project Overview

"The Devil Visits Earth" or TDVE is an original MMD animated webseries by ALRB for YouTube, originally a GachaVerse series. It is about the experiences of the Devil, renamed Ethan Morningson, on Earth. He is accompanied by the Earth demon, Simon Lilia.


The character photos are of the original GachaVerse versions. The models are yet to be completed.

  • This Project is Cancelled

    First of all, I would to thank everyone who clicked this while scrolling through the countless projects here in this website and the talented VAs that auditioned and sent their lines. But despite that and already finishing the first episode, I will have to cancel this project. I apologize if I had wasted your time and (I'm surprised with this) your hopes. I would like to thank the VAs that sent their lines. I hope we can get the chance to work again in another project that will hopefully not get cancelled. Again, thank you and sorry.

    I've made another casting call for some extras needed for this project. I know that most of who auditioned and follows this project didn't get casted and I'm thankful for even taking an interest (still wondering what part of this project peaked your interest). Ethan Morningson is the main character of the series. He is calm and collected (like most demon character portrayals in anime) and most of the time, would simply give you a death stare when you piss him off. He's barely ever found his match in a fight, but when does, he smiles ominously and still keeps his cool. He has a fascination on things that can interest him.

  • (threatening but calm) I usually don't meddle with conflicts such as this but... I won't allow you to hurt these students.

  • (fascinated) A mere lower level angel, threatening me? I knew visiting this world would be a nice change.

Simon Lilia is an Earth demon, and is one of the very few demons that live on Earth. These demons are the ones people go to when they wish to "make a deal with the devil". He attends and runs a prestigious academy called St. Lilith's Academy where Ethan will meet the four humans that will befriend him. He is in the same class as the four humans. No one in the school knows that he is the owner. His personality is quite bubbly for a demon. He can be clumsy at times. He thinks it is a great honor to be in the presence of Ethan. He is abnormally strong for his rank but sympathizes humans to the point where he would let them live depending on how major their sins were. He is sometimes mistaken as a girl due to his hairstyle and his voice.

Ryusei Tendo

Ryusei Tendo went to St. Lilith's Academy along with his childhood friend Dina Lancaster. He spent his first 7 years in Japan and the rest with Dina which explains his knowledge of Japanese. He has a goofy personality. He picks on Melanie's height even though he's aware she skipped a few grades. Sometimes, he and Dina would bicker about simple things but it usually gets resolved within a matter of minutes. He also picks on Simon and keeps referring to him as a "she" which had led to misunderstandings in the past.


UPDATE: Ryusei was supposed to be revealed as an Earth angel under Simon and Ethan's noses in the end, but due to a change in the script, it will be revealed that Simon knew Ryusei's true identity. It was decided to keep his true background to the people auditioning a secret but due to the change, his true background will now be told.

Ryusei is an Earth angel who decided to keep an eye on Simon Lilia, the founder and director of St. Lilith's Academy. He decided to attend his school a year prior to the events of the series, with Simon's knowledge. During his attendance at the school, he met Dina Lancaster and took a liking to her. He used his Angelic Ability to create fake memories to trick her into thinking they were childhood best friends.

  • (kidding around, to Simon) Hey, there, beautiful. What's a pretty girl like you wearing boy clothes?

  • (serious, to Simon and Ethan) I'll allow Ethan's visit to remain unknown to the other angels as long as you bring no harm to these humans.

Dina Lancaster is a fairly average girl. She is a cheerleader and has a great sense of fashion. She has some gymnastic abilities but none that exceptional. She often gets into quarrels with Ryusei but they quickly resolve it afterwards. She and Ryusei are childhood friends. They only met Daisy and Melanie after getting into St. Lilith's

Daisy Martin is a hard-working student. She came from a middle-income family from a third-world country but through the academy's overseas scholarship program, she was able to attend the school. She has a mild and shy personality. She would often rather stay indoors and read books or articles.


She can speak straight English but her original accent still stands out. She has a slight airy voice.

Melanie Abott is an academic genius and is blessed. She comes from a rich family and skipped a few grades due to her advanced learning abilities. Ryusei makes fun of her by calling her short, to which she responds like a child. Everything was served on a silver platter for her. She acts like a brat at times but is aware that it is not the way to act.


She has a high-pitched voice.
