Cohr·Emis·Ahn (pronounced; Core-ehmees-aahn )

Is "court wizard" to the king of his nation. He is one of the main male lead's best friends. His motives are ULTRA hidden. He is sociable yet reserved. He is a Dom. But he is no where near sleazy. To put it into perspective, he's one of the good guys, he just happens to be a Dom.

Background:

Halycind Cashtiel (pronounced; Hal-i-sin-d Cash-teal )

Is THE main female leading role. She is quite simply a tribal girl who's unsure of her own life's choice and direction. She's a great NATURAL hunter and posses an indomitable will. She falls in love with her best friend after spending some time with him and makes a promise to defend their love. Her personality might be easy to red on the surface but Halycind carries MANY MANY secrets so her demeanor changes ALOT over time.

Test Lines---

(Halycind grunted,) "But I've studied so much of the terrain here. I'm ready."

('mossy' is a slang term for virginity. Here, Haly is apprehensively admitting to not being bold enough to approach men and the inherent neglect she's felt growing up.) “Well, while I am Ashok (pron: Ash-ok), there are other Princesses less...abrasive...than I. Therefore, I – I've not chosen a mate to run with and...moreover...no-one's chosen me, so I've kept mossy. I haven’t done anything with anyone.”

(Haly is sarcastic and cynical AND she's in a conversation here with her best guy friend so she's natural in her speech. I'm leaving the narration in this piece for acting direction.) “Doing arithmetic in small numbers does not make one smart.” She dragged and sighed at his jokes. “...After...after you were gone…” Her head hung a bit. “...My tutors didn’t like me. I didn’t pay attention well. I tried, I really did, but after a few moments of hearing them speak...I didn't hear them anymore. I only saw wuribai (woo-ri-bye) playing outdoors. The wistful whims of our leaves turning their seasonal colours. The cloth of wash-maids billowing on the breezes...”

Brisbe Hexandrea ()

Brisbe Hexandrea (pronounced; Briz-bee Hex-an-dree-a )

Is a country ruler and an old flame of Percival's. She is one of the 7 WarQueens ruling her nation and acts much as a friend to the main female lead and ally in times of trouble.

(said kind of questioning the moment) “If I know anything about gods—and I do—it is that they can be unpredictable in their wrath. Your world is just beginning to birth its days of worship and gods fight harder than kings for fealty.”

(said brightly with assurance) "yes. we have ways others in the world know nothing of. but i trust answers will come soon for you. I don't want to see a woman of your will cry for helplessness."

(encouraging this young woman she's gotten to know) "You are a woman of great power. Never apologize for showing vulnerability . In this we are now sisters and I will cheer on your efforts with the mage boy you love, Gale-Killer."

Background:

Siin Ynggrloch (pronounced; Seeen Een-ger-lock )

Is THE main male leading role. He is a VERY complex character with a large emotional range displayed in the written work. He speaks ALL LANGUAGES so the casting requires at least the mechanical knowledge of many linguistics. His storyarc is DARK. He might be bright in demeanor but he is extremely aware and observant. He is in love with the Main Female Lead and will FIGHT for their relationship until his very last breath. (he should remind you of a darker version of Disney's Aladdin.)

(said as if he's finally, softly, telling the girl of his dreams how he found her; but there is a "regret" behind his words) "I’d been looking for you. Planning my steps. Plotting my movements so they’d be in step with yours. Percival wasn’t the only one who’d had all his irons in a fire. I knew you’d be there. I knew Veygornne (vay-gorn) would take you to meet Percival for our ‘Venge (short for revenge) quarry. I needed to finally get to you...so I could keep you with me." 

(said in a kind, schooling manor toward the main female lead) "Magecraft isn't good or malicious by its own nature. The intent behind it...colours...flavours a spell and a mage can tell by the flavour of the spell the intent of the caster.”

(His whisper is charged with awe and wrapped in unmitigated honesty)  “Halycind, you are so incredibly beautiful. I have loved your colour since the first I laid sight on you. I have dreamt so many nights of that rich orange in your amber eyes staring softly on me. I have craved so deeply to feel the make of your lips against mine.”

Kodlaa Eberhavven ()

Background:

Kodlaa Eberhavven (pronounced; Kahd-lah ee-ber-haven )

is bubbly, smart, feisty, zesty, loyal, friendly, and the biggest liar in this book. She's crass, sassy, a rogue and a thief. she'll steal all your belongings and sell them back to you. she is Halycind's pack-sister and friend. and she really likes sleeping with other fighters.

(shocked Halycind is still a virgin so she says with some shock and dreaminess) “What?! Qinu (Chee-nu) boys are gorgeous! What, with their pearly white skin and their pearly white hair. Who doesn’t want that draped over top of you?”

(she is PLASTERED DRUNK here) “Liar! All the litter you talked about havin’ back home! Oh, you’re so eager to have his babies you don’t know what you’re talking about.”

(there is someone who knows her secret so she slips out of her demeanor into her natural exotic accent) “My grandfather told me you would say these things. You are Scerci. He saw you in his smokes.”

Zshanab Suhail al Diin

Age:(????) perhaps MILLIONS of years old??

Background:

This guy is the reason I wrote this series. While he is NOT the main male lead, he is the person that knows every OUNCE of the plot. All the time, there is an aire of orchestration when he speaks. All of his words have a double and triple meaning but he never lies. His motives however are unclear to all the other characte. He is the god of secrets, commander of the dead, the lorde of the InnerMost.

(because Zshanab is SOOO important to the flavour of the story it is crucial how this is said. he is smooth, rumbling, delicate and he's saying this with the love of ages in the whispering of her name...basically he sounds like a god calling her to him.) "Halycind."

(there is surety and sarcasm in his tone) “Do you know how old Dureyr (d-your-rer) is? The dead are everywhere.”

(he's holding back a BEAD of anger here but he's ENJOYING imparting this hidden knowledge onto our main female lead.) “I quaked the dead and they quaked the earth. And my brothers knew I was unhappy. They have armies of casters, armies of blades, armies of beasts...but without my support they cannot raise war with any of them, for I command the largest of armies. I command the dead. They could not take Ashok so they left. Then Wyyt'Phyr (white-fire) left. And I watched as a father, full of cowardice, leave his daughter to become a weeping woman in a blood-soaked field of her brothers.”

Thrace is a simple soul. He wants his King back and he wants his cousin Siin to stay alive. he just doesn't want to have to fight so hard for any of it.

Background:

Percival Hollichek

Is a commander. He heads up an Agency of hunter's who only work for kings and governments to hunt down, capture or kill, magic users who've lost their minds. they also hunt beasts the governments can't deal with. Percival is heroic but he's a man under his OWN agenda even though he acts like he's heeding everyone else's.

Test Lines---

(Percival sounds most like his commander self here) “We're threading the needle here wolaenki (wo-lain-kee). This is a lot different than what you're used to. I'm going to need you to let this develop organically and quietly. Much of what we do is based on an ever-adjusting scale of observations and machinations.”

(Percival is solemn and angry here) “Everyone knows Khartoum (car-toom). He petrified it and everyone in it. Before we could get to him. I had opportunity to capture him twice...but was requested to cease my hunt by his brother. They tried to rehabilitate Marvynn but only made him worse. This was his third chance for penitence.”

(he's a bit riled up here so he's speaking fairly quickly and suprisedly. he's talking to his ward and his ward's girlfriend. percival's a playboy himself but he's annoyed he just walked in on those two kissing and them being all nervous about it) “Do you know how many girls I've kissed in a pantry...how many girls I've – well – well – what you were about to do...in a pantry? I'm not telling anyone anything.”

Skink Gatelick

is not a good man. He's the twin of Homel Gatelick who, in reluctant tandem, run a country full of hooligans and criminals called BloodOcean. He and his twin befriend our main male lead after several failed attempts of attempted murder. he is not dumb by any means but his ambition can be used against him.

"Our Pixie Pirate King? If BloodOcean couldn't kill him, you most certainly can't."

Friscesca Yong Handdaz, Prince Yong of High House Handdaz (pronounced; Rees Yawn-g Han-dAz )

Is our main male lead's BEST friend. He is VERY important to the story and its VERY important the right person voices him/them/her. He is an assassin and a prince of his father's court AND he is a mage. He's smart, cunning, bright, poised, and demure. he's great at parties and can make friends easily. but noone knows how loyal and down to earth he can be except our main male lead. Ris is intersex and LOVES this fact about his body. he dresses to suit both sexes or unisex, whichever way the wind blows that day. He will answer to any pronoun thrown his way...if they are said with respect. She is still a Prince, after all.

Test Lines---

(his best friend says to him, "How did you find me?" and Ris answers) "You killed a man on top of the tallest prison ever erected...how do you think I found you?"

(He and his buddy are leaving a court ball) "I do not display much. I keep my attire modest. Well tailored.

I am not like those other Princes with their loud scandals and bold displays of wealth. I am quite reserved. Rife with wisdom.

I don’t go about my efforts with gravitas. I enter primly, show face, and remove myself from the event with grace. Not with roaring fanfare. Not with bloody fists.

Are you paying attention to the manner in which we are leaving said gala? Very humble. Very aware. In this I am remembered by all for many risings to come."

(this is further along in Ris's storyarc where he's discussing his marriage to a King who also happens to be a flower) "Siin you, sweet boy. He's a flower on his last petals. Do you think a man who was supposed to have been lost for 10,000 years would've been so easily found? The only reason he made himself known to you, was for his last effort at happiness. You're kin to the man he once loved. The closest thing to something he could trust. And you brought him, me. Something he’s waited 10,000 years for. And in a way...so had I. So I will care for him until he can look on me no longer. And I will weep for him as I will no other."

Background:

Homel Gatelick

is not like Skink. but he is also NOT a good man in the traditional sense. They are twins but Homel is the more devious one. He's happy in demeanor but his brains match his brawn. hence why he and his twin run an entire country. BloodOcean is it's name. he's the one who pushes to side with our main male lead during the story, but he frames it as if it were his brother's idea. He has a feeling there's more to the Pixie Pirate King than what is whispered about him.
