Hi there! We're Tashie and Sam (also known as alittlemid and StarstoShinex on Youtube)! We are doing our first PAID ^_^ casting call together! This is an exciting project for us and we are thrilled to find our cast for our new series!

PAYMENT
We will be using PAYPAL for payments.  Lines must be sent before we send payment. As this is a first time for us, we want to create some trust between everyone! So when you send your lines for the first episode, we will pay you the first half of your payment.

PLOT
The story follows a young girl named Claire who just moved after the recent divorce of her parents. As an only child, she finds adjusting to her new surroundings difficult. However, this changes when she makes eye contact with the boy next door. 


RULES

1- Please have a clear microphone.

2- USE EMOTION. This will determine if we consider you. 

3- It is not recommended, but we STRONGLY encourage to send in an mp3 or wav format. 

4- Please note if you are casted, we expect lines to be turned in on time. If not, expect to be hounded by lines. You will be recasted AFTER 3 days if you become unresponsive.

    Wow! There has been an incredible response to the casting call and Sam and I are super ecstatic about it! We have listened to some auditions and the talent we have recieved is amazing! There are a few that have stood out and we will continue to listen to more auditions as they come in, as well as ones that have been posted. Thank you everyone!

  • Deadline extended!

    As school has started for many people (including myself and my partner) we decided to extend the deadline to Nov 22nd. That's around the time usually people are on thanksgiving break! Anyway, that's all! Good luck everyone! We will be taking a look at some auditions today! Thank you!

Claire is known to be very independant. She is very appreciative and loving towards her mother after the bad divorce between her parents. Claire usually spends her free time with her dog, Duke, since Claire doesn’t have that many friends. She keeps to herself, but isn’t at all socially awkward. She is very friendly and open towards people. She has a good vibe to her and is very intelligent. 

  • (Tease) So...there's a boy next door! It will be just like one of those romantic movies.

  • (Reassuring) Mom, mom, calm down. It’s okay. I appreciate everything you do already. It’s not your fault that you get called into work all the time. I understand.

  • (Upset) I just… I just don’t understand. Everytime I try my best.. Nothing ever seems to be enough. What else can I do?

Jaden is known for being popular and somewhat mysterious. He has a dark past, but over the years he has learned to cope with the events that occurred when he was young. He dates quite a few girls and is flirty. He is a man after all.




  • 1- (flirty) I saw that you were checking me out so uh, I decided to introduce myself.

  • 2- (frustrated, upset) Why do you keep bringing up the past? It’s done and over with, so it doesn’t matter anymore.

  • 3- Well, I heard what happened to her and it’s terrible, but I never talked to her. I kind of wish I could of least been friends with her. She seemed like a nice girl.

Female | 15 |  Preferred voice: High Pitch, Soft Spoken.
Abigail is the complete opposite of Claire. She tends to keep quiet and is very conservative. Even though she doesn’t talk much, she is very trustworthy, but very gullible. Abigail is very smart and gets good grades and scholarships; however when she was in middle school, she was bullied for wearing glasses and not having friends. She began to make bad grades and would hurt herself. Eventually she starting seeing a psychiatrist which lead her down a good path, until one day she went missing after walking home from her appointment.

  • (wary, mindful) I’m sorry, I can’t. I have something important that I have to do. Maybe next time?

  • (Scared) Please.. Leave me alone! You’re- you’re scaring me! This isn’t like you!

Lucas is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. He’s been best friends with Claire since middle school, and is always scheduling skype calls with her. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, and always has a positive outlook on life.

  • (reassuring) Oh come on Clay, don’t sell yourself short! You got a lot of things going for you! Like...uh you can eat a whole pizza by yourself?

  • (worried) I haven’t heard from you in a while, what’s going on? You’re my best friend and I just wanted to make sure you were okay.

Ella is very approachable, bubbly and ambitious. She is popular, but she doesn’t judge anyone and talks to everybody. She loves fashion and is always wearing something in the latest trends.

  • Oh, Jaden? He’s a pretty cool guy. I’ve only had a couple of conversations with him. But I know one thing- EVERY girl is head over heels over him. Except me, of course.

Gina is Claire’s mother who loves her daughter and would do anything for her. After her husband cheated on her, she decided to move out of town so her and Claire could have a new start. Gina tries to spend as much time as she can with Claire, but since she works as a nurse, she gets called into work a lot, leaving Claire home alone most of the time. 

  • (Guilty) I’m sorry I always leave on such short notice.. It seems like the hospital is always low on staff. I hate making you stay here alone. I wish there was more I could do..

  • (Reassuring) Claire bear.. I know you’re scared, but don’t worry. This will be good for us. We can both have a new start.
