Project Overview

INTRO

Hello! I'm with a youtube channel called The Lightspeed Project. We work on dubbing comic dubs and occasionally doing gaming videos.

We currently are trying to branch into different fandoms, such as:

I will give examples of the voice I'm looking for in the audition roles, but I am open to hearing your version of what the character would sound like.

You'll be given access to a separate server if your audition is chosen, that discord is private.

ROLE INFORMATION:

First things first: THIS IS AN ENTIRELY UNPAID PROJECT. It's mainly a passion project by a group of teenagers, so we couldn't pay anyone if we wanted to. BUT. If this channel begins turning a significant profit (don't count on it), payment will be open to renegotiation.

These roles are all more permanent roles, but of course, you can step down from any role at any time. At which point, your role would be recast.

GUIDELINES:

  • Don't slate

  • Must be 13+

  • If you decide to use a voice effect for a character, please leave in the unedited takes.

  • Please include your discord in the audition!

  • You can audition for and get more than one character! If you want to audition for more than one character, please audition separately!

  • I know how it can feel.. in this.... circus. Sometimes it all just feels... pointless.

  • I'm normally not too good with memories. But being surrounded by darkness always… brings me back to a certain time. Right after my wife had… had abstracted… I don't recall the exact string of events, but we both ended up in the fort together. And it was dark. The darkness seemed to calm her down a bit. The harsh, jagged edges smoothed out, and she didn't seem aggravated anymore. She wasn’t the same as before, but she was calm enough to touch one last time… before she got sent to the cellar.

The responsibilities of this role would include:


Making comics for the channel.

That's about it. It's mostly a way to make comics and get your work out there in a different medium for you, and a way for us to get 'first come first serve', let's say. If you want, this could also include mini character animations in the outro of the characters in the video hanging out, but that's not required. Or just smaller art pieces.You may also be asked to make thumbnails for the videos, especially any gaming videos.. Please do NOT submit AI generated art. If we find out the art is AI generated you will NOT be chosen. We do not wish to work with AI 'artists'.
