An unpaid project with fluffy and potentially angsty skits of the characters from The Amazing Digital Circus! This'll be for my tumblr blog that'll feature audio skits from the characters, following more AU logic rather than canon. The fluff will include stuff like tickles, comfort, and comedic scenarios i'd imagine! also there could be potential asks for the characters if not a skit, if in that scenario, it'll also follow AU logic based off of the current canon (as of this time episodes one and two)

We have mostly everyone cast! the last few characters that we have open are Caine, who will appear quite a lot, Max, and Kaufmo, who isn't in the actual show but has been reawakened for AU shenanigans.
Hello Everyone! I'm surprised at how much attention this recieved, but I wanna say that I'm greatful, extatic, and genuinely impressed with all the talent that I've seen flow in through auditions! There are only a few days left of this casting call being open so I will wait until then to post results as I want to give everybody a fair chance to audition and show me what they got. :)
So far, I think I know who I'm going to cast for what role, and I wanted to let you know I appreciate, and respect everyone who auditioned. For those who don't receive a part, don't be discouraged because just because you didn't receive a part in this call, doesn't mean that you don't have talent. <:) I had to really fight with myself on selecting some of the parts because I saw how many amazing VAs auditioned on the same characters.
Anywho, as of now, the characters that I'm most paying attention are Kaufmo, Zooble, and the Crocodile brothers.
I've not had very many auditions at all for kaufmo, and the one thing I wanna say is... don't be afraid to try for him. Don't feel like you have to sound exactly like him.. because I don't even know what he sounds like. The voice Reference I gave was an example of a potential voice I'd see for him. He's an untouched character and we know very little about him.. so if anyone is indeed interested in auditioning for him, I'm all here for it!

An absolute prick with a more flowey-like approach to the world,
"Well.. its just a game! Its not real, so it doesn't matter, obviously."
He causes chaos as a means of control and if he doesn't have that,
He'd probably go completely insane. He isn't playing to build connections,
he's playing to destroy them. Im sure that having this vision of unreality truly
warps jax's ability to feel empathy in certain ways, however, like with game characters,
Jax is friends with them to a certain degree, and like with canon show Kaufmo, mourns his death
like the others.
(talking to self with a shit eating grin.) "Lets see... what chaos shall we cause today, jax ol' buddy... Slip snakes in kinger's tent? Centipedes in ragatha's closet? Ohhh... or maybe give the newbie a waaarm welcome!~"
(he rolls his eyes) "If i wanted to witness any of this mushy slop i would have moved into the candy canyon kingdom with old fudgy." (someone else, "But.. werent there just enough houses for the npcs?"; jax blinks) "... and?"

Pomni is the new member of the amazing digital circus, and is trying to keep a grasp on her sanity. The woman tries to keep a level head, overall she is kindhearted and understanding, unafraid to take risks, sadly sometimes before thinking them through. At her core though, she wants to help others and never gives up hope, knowing she has friends to fall back on.
"Well, h-how do I, you know, leave?"
"Oh, okay, now I get it. This is a dream! And I should just play along until I wake up, right?"

An NPC created by Caine from the candy canyon kingdom world. He's a very noble and loyal brother to his Mother, and his two brothers Max, and Chad. After learning of his reality, he's taken a new approach to life, alongside pomni making friends and living their best life in the circus and whatever other hyjinx ensue.
"Hey! Quit muckin' about and get back up here!"
"Why not? I don't matter in the slightest. I'm nothing. My life, my memories... my friends... It's all fake."

Kinger is the oldest in the digital circus and has blips of awareness in show. He seems to have been traumatized by something so great it permanently scarred his mental state. Aside from being forgetful and anxious, Kinger seems to be quite a fatherly figure and tends to give advice when needed, if he is able to comprehend what is going on.
"Oh, Thank God you're okay. You didn't experience any game show hosts in there, did you?"
"Expert on the what?"

Zooble is a member of the circus that tends to be very standoffish, and blunt, yet does express empathy and care to people she actually cares about. She doesn't tend to like doing activities caine sets up, seeing them as sort of pointless. She seems to have a sort of a Tough Big Sister like personality.
"Man, I can't believe Kaufmo just gave up like that. I mean, no offense Kinger, but I always thought you would be next."
"Shut up Jax, but yeah, he's right. Welcome to your new home. And your new body."

Gangle is the member of the circus that seems to have two sides. As long as her comedy mask isn't broken, she is constantly all smiles. Gangle also seems to have a problem standing up for herself, going along with whatever anyone says if she feels pressured to do so. She is emotional and skittish to being talked to with sternly. It seems she may have some anxiety problems in general, from her past, or due to Jax picking on her and invading her privacy.
"They broke my comedy mask. (Sobs)"
"We saw a Gloink carry one of Zooble's pieces down there, remember?"

Ragatha is the motherly, kindhearted figure in the amazing digital circus. She looks out for everyone in the circus and tries to ensure that newcomers are greeted with a warm welcome, as they've gone through a lot from the trauma of not being able to, 'take the headset off'.
"Everything's gonna be okay new stuff. We've all been through this."
"Oh, that's just one of Caine's little adventures. They're just something fun to do to, you know, Prevent us from going insane."

We don't see anything of Kaufmo from the amazing digital circus, HOWEVER, For my personal perception of him through how everyone described him, I can see kaufmo as being a foil of jax. Kaufmo tells fake jokes, as he thinks that fake out jokes are the funniest. He tends to enjoy caine's game because going through with them keeps him sane up to a certain degree, and kaufmo usually undoes jax's chaos from the background so that no AI gets hurt. He tends to know where to draw the line at jokes, and usually gets after jax after going around and pranking people, to which slapstick and hyjinx ensue.
"Knock knock! (who's there?) ... Nobody, i was setting up a joke, y'see!"
"Why is six afraid of seven? ... well i'd think its because seven is bigger than six! AHhah.."
"Jax, I'm gonna give you to the count of three to put that centipede. DOWN. one.... two,- HEY! WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING!?"
The sentient AI and ringmaster of the digital circus that is positively zany, and who prepares a new wacky quest every day for all of the players (and NPCs on account of pomni, and kaufmo's persistance), to ensure they don't lose their minds with their stay in the amazing digital circus.
"Welcome to The Amazing Digital Circus! My name is Caine, I'm your ringmaster, and I'm here to show you the most jaw-dropping, heart-stopping, MIND BENDING paraphernalia you've ever laid your eyes upon!"
"My my! It appears a new human has entered this realm!"

Max is one of Gummigoo's brothers, loyal to him yet gets into shenanigans often alongside Chad.
"oh.... Me arms aren't long enou-" (gets cut off with slapstick)
