The Ainrann Chronicles - AN AUDIO DRAMA ABOUT DINOSAURS, DEMONS,AND FURRIES

The main protagonist of the series. 

A former Unity soldier who wants to escape the world he knows as it falls into war. Despite being skeptical and distrustful of others due to being betrayed by his closest friends, he is pretty open around others and is willing to offer help in any way he can. He also tends to act without thinking which can lead to some unintended consequences. Above all else though, Robin wants nothing more than to protect and be with those he cares about.

A cave lioness arkian and Robin's love interest. 

She is very friendly but also has a playful side. Even though she'd rather talk things out first she is very protective of the people close to her to the point of using violence if she feels the danger is too great. She is also very tough, having fought dinosaurs her whole life like every arkian, but she always prefers to let her softer side take control.

A nubian goat janjiran turned demon who becomes a bounty hunter after her death. 

Mina used to be social and positive, but became more introverted and quiet after her death. Her short temper was also a rare occurrence when she was alive but has grown a habit of giving in to it more often. However, she's still the same person on the inside and will do whatever it takes to help someone in need. She has also grown more lonely having dealt with the netherworld for so long. She longs to return to her former life and be with her best friend, Rian.

A mekana robot and Mina's closest friend. 

Kimmy hates being bored and will go out of her way to seek out exciting things, and if nothing interesting is happening she tends to cause it. She hates it when people judge her for small size, especially since she was trained by the Caretaker of Death himself. She secretly sees herself as a monster for betraying her creator but tries to keep her past hidden from everyone around her, wanting to start fresh.

An amphicyon arkian who joins Robin and Briar on their adventure. 

Venom gets his nickname from his skills at handling a gun, having used to work as a village guard. He also prefers this nickname due to the little self-doubt still remaining in him. He is the muscle of the group but always thinks through situations logically, sometimes being the voice of reason when there is no other. He prefers putting on a "tough-front" even though he cares very much about his friends.

A deinogalerix arkian who joins Robin and Briar on their adventure.

Anya always does her best to have a positive attitude. Her cheerful demeanor brings joy to everyone around her. She is always the one taking risks for the group, getting them to step out of their comfort zones and give new opportunities a try. She lacks any real fighting experience beyond shooting a gun but she will always do her best to protect her friends and family.

A hyaenodon arkian and a dinosaur expert who joins Robin and Briar on their adventure. 

She is very soft-spoken, just barely able to speak louder than a mumble or a whisper, but when she has something to say she does not hold back. She is very honest and always listens to others but she is no pushover when it comes to being firm in her beliefs. She tries to see the good in everyone and gives credit where credit is due. Because of her calm personality, she is easy to get along with just as long as you don't hurt her friends.

A stag-moose and the main antagonist.

On one hand, Amaranth is a heartless monster, but on the other she is a lonely girl longing for a friend. She doesn't care about the lives of other people but if someone manages to break through her bubble then she will risk her life for them. She still feels a sense of betrayal for the wrongs that were committed to her childhood friend, but she always channels that through negative emotions, refusing to let go of her past scars and allowing them define her.

Ifit is an arkian hybrid of unknown origins. He has a strong hatred for the arkian race and anyone who sides with them. He takes pleasure in torturing his victims, giving them a slow painful death. He values no one other than hybrids, wanting them to be free from the same torment he was forced to endure when he was created. He is secretly traumatized by his past, although he occasionally lets it slip out on occasion through sudden bursts of violence. His partnership with Amaranth is merely a means to an end in order to bring about the destruction of the arkian race.

Rek'yr is the eldest and most powerful of the ramalasaurs, dinosaur hybrids created by Ifrit to replace arkians once he wipes them all out. He sees Ifrit as an older brother while also acknowledging him as the patriarch of the family. He also feels it is his responsibility to take care of all the other ramalasaurs.

An american Mastodon arkian and Amaranth's high priest.

Second only to Amaranth, BlackRain is held in the highest respect and his years as an high priest has helped his village conquer may others. He holds religious traditions above all else, although his true identity and motives are a secret even to Amaranth herself.

A mekana robot and Sarafina's horseman of War. 

She loves being challenged by others as it gives her a reason to kill and avoid being bored. While she seem like a mindless murderer, she's actually pretty clever and wise, always analyzing the context of the situation regardless of how little a threat she considers others to be. Berserk has a superiority complex, talking down on others to damage them psychologically instead of resorting to murder right away. She takes delight in seeing others in despair and even joins in on the action whether she had anything to do with it or not.

A bengal tiger janjiran, Mina's best friend and secret crush before her death. 

Rian he was shy, introverted, and and keeps his social circle limited to a handful of people. It's because of this though that he has grown a strong sense of loyalty to those close to him and will go the extra mile for them. But as he began his investigation into Mina's death he starts to open back up to people again, slowly becoming more social and interacting with others. He is also very intelligent, being skilled with analyzing and hacking various computer systems.

A giant panda janjiran and a secret government agent who befriends Rian in his quest to uncover the secret to Mina's death. 

Angel is devoted to her responsibilities, but she has a good heart and uses it to help those who need it most. She is kind and friendly when she feels calm and relaxed, but is firm in her abilities to do her duty when a situation gets serious. Despite being a secret agent, she despises having to keep secrets from others. She tries to cope with this by making special bonds with people she feels she can trust them with. Angel is an extrovert and as such, enjoys meeting new people and helping them out in any way she can and doing her best to have a positive attitude.

A mekana robot that works as a security guard.

Sylvia mostly kept her thoughts and opinions to herself but tries to be more open with expressing herself. She mostly prefers spending time reading any book she can get her hands on and tends to get easily annoyed by the people around her. She comes off as rude and careless when in reality she values her friends very much and has an unconventional way of expressing that.

Lucy is the Caretaker of Life and the last of the dragonbloods, the descendants of dragons. She is also the leader the Caretakers, seven guardians tasked with protecting Ainrann.

Mostly upbeat and positive, Lucy puts a smile on the faces of everyone around her. She strives to be an example to not only the people of Ainrann but also to her fellow Caretakers. She believes that doing the right thing goes far beyond just simply saving people's lives and preventing worlds from blowing up, and that a true battle of good vs. evil is a battle for the soul. While the memories of her past life do come to mind often, they no longer bother her and serve as a reminder that anyone can strive for the Light even in their darkest moment.

A hare janjiran and the Caretaker of Space.

Nebula is a happy-go-lucky girl who loves goofing around and hates boredom. As a caretaker, she has the ability to travel between many different worlds and there is no limit to who or how many people she brings along for the ride, just as long as its one world at a time.

A cave lioness arkian and a village leader.

Midna has a motherly instinct that has never faded away which makes her empathetic towards others. She comforts and nurtures anyone in need of it, but she is no pushover. She is skilled with firearms and takes charge of a situation when she needs to.

An arsinoitherium arkian, Midna's apprentice, and romantic rival of Briar for Robin's affections.

Lindsay has a rebellious spirit and tends to do things her way. She has a quick temper but her anger tends to be more mellow than one would expect, making her appear more ice cold. She jumps to conclusions rather quickly and will even react with hostility at certain times, but in truth all she desires is to protect her village. Her heart is in the right place and she is not above humbling herself when she needs to in order to help others in need.

A witch from the netherworld who works as a bartender at a bounty hunter's guild called Black Rose. 

Trixie has mastered the art of positivity, thus making him as supportive as you can get. His upbeat personality makes him immune to any kind of insult, and uses his magic to humiliate the offender only to keep the peace in the guild rather than out of wounded pride. But this rarely happens as Trixie has a way of getting on people's good side. He is friendly towards everyone regardless of how evil they are or who they once were in their mortal lives and survives by helping them out in any way he can. However, he has a playful side as well, such as when he decides to use black or forbidden magic to tease someone for kicks... or whenever he tries to get the attention of a cute boy.

A mekana robot and Sylvia's older sister. 

She is proud and loyal to her master, willing to go to any lengths to please him. But she also has a close personal connection with Sylvia and wants her master to see her value, of which he sees little of in her. She enjoys engaging in sports and is athletic even by mekana standards.

Moonstone is a mekana robot who hires Robin to aid him find Trithanas.

Moonstone appears to be like any other professional office worker, but his true nature emerges whenever he attempts to manipulate situations to his favor, even going so far as to commit murder to accomplish these goals- although he prefers to send others to do his dirty work for him. His greatest desire is to rule over all lifeforms and will resort to any means necessary to accomplish that goal. Despite growing quite fond of humans, he does not care for the lives of others and only tolerates them based on how useful they are to him. He secretly hates janjirans and sees the dynamic of janjirans and mekanas as one of master and slave.

A burmese python janjiran turned demon and the Caretaker of Death.

Sarafina comes across as a spoiled princess, but she's actually very clever and intelligent. She's made secret deals with demons and mortals alike over the centuries and has learned the art of dark magic long before she became the Caretaker of Death. She often feigns kindness and loyalty to make others do her bidding. Even so, she has a rude demeanor and looks down on others, even if they are far more powerful than she is.

Kimmy's creator before his death, Berserk's co-creator after his death, and Sarafina's Horseman of Conquest.

Empress is a ramaalik, a giant kaiju and ruler of Trithanas.

She represents everything that the lost continent of Trithanas has always believed in- kill or be killed. She despises all who challenge her but does respect those who only fight to protect their loved ones. She has a strong hatred for humans since she has a long history associated with them.

Azizi is a mekana robot and a member of the Ajade, a group of people who stand in opposition against mekana "slavery" in janjiran culture.

Azizi is very dedicated to the cause and won't end the crusade until all mekanas are free from serving their janjiran creators. He takes his job rather seriously and often rolls his eyes at anything meta. Despite being part of the cause, he is not completely loyal to his fellow Ajade as he will only take on assignments that pay the most. He does not have a sense of honor and would even consider betraying his comrades if it means freeing all mekanas... for a high price.

Conrad is one of the wealthiest residents of the netherworld. He lives like a victorian aristocrats and enjoys the arts. He behaves gentlemanly to visitors and to those he does business with, but acts as his own personal hangman when need be.

Robin's former teammate.

He takes no chances and labels anyone whom he suspects to be a possible danger as a threat. He may seem like a charming guy on the surface, but in truth he is everything Robin despises about the Kingdom Unity. His methods of killing makes him a force to be reckoned with.

Robin's former teammate and ex-girlfriend who feels betrayed after he deserts the team.

Even though she is calm and rational, she is much more blunt in her approach to violence compared to Robin. Her sweetness diminishes by the day and is replaced by a darker, more psychotic persona.

Robin's former teammate and a sniper with the heart and soul of a soldier. 

Jessie is the most level headed member of the team. She is not very loud or very expressive but her actions get the message across perfectly clear. Whenever someone attacks her, figuratively or literally, she immediately fights back depending on how triggered she gets.
