Busy busy busyyyyyyyyyyyy
Hiyo everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates on here! I been super busy working on episode 2. Glad to finally say all coloring on the characters are done! I just started on background yesterday and already managed to get 30 of them done. (it’s not that big of a number when you realize I recycle some backgrounds. ^^; ) Still on track to getting backgrounds done this month, leaving audio and video editing to be done in May and June.
I listened to most of the auditions so far, but I’m still working my way through them. I can’t thank everyone enough for your time and your submissions! After the deadline, please allow me 3 or 4 days to re listen auditions to be extra sure.
I would like to be super clear on the art direction for this series since ep 1 is in color and the majority of ep 2 will be in screetones(black and white). There is a story reason for that that will make sense as the story progresses. As time goes on in the story it will be back to full color. As for animation, I’m only one person. I can’t do full on animation cause I want to live to see this story end. In other words, “animation takes a loong time” ;w; So I’m only working in key poses and doing slight inbetweens here and there with each shot to lessen the load. Think of it like an animatic but with a lil more polish. I been so up in the air about calling it “indie animation” for a long while but since animatics get lumped into indie animation now, heck it, that’s what I been calling it for the pass few months. Just don’t anyone here to get the wrong impression that it’s 24 frames a second. ^^;
