TF2 Swap is an alternate universe of the hit game, Team Fortress 2. Based on the above artwork by @j0e_le on X/Twitter, the “Swap” in the name refers to how the classes of the nine mercenaries and the roles of some side characters are swapped around between them.
Generally speaking, these swaps were made with the following question in mind:
“If these two were swapped, what would be different?”
However, there are some things we left unswapped. For example:
The characters’ ages. Everyone is the same age as they are in the source material.
The RED Team and BLU Team. As a result, the roles of the Mann Family are also unchanged.
Families, pets, and official pairings. Mikhail still has three sisters, Herbert Ludwig has his doves, Jane Doe marries Zhanna, etc.

Looking for interested voice actors for the Swapped Mercs:
- Gumshoe(Spy!Pyro), Hunter(Scout!Sniper), Mechanic(Engie!Soldier), Arsonist (Pyro!Demo), Saboteur (Demo!Spy), Sergeant (Soldier!Medic), and Heavy!Engie.
- but also The Assistant (Ms.Pauling!The Administrator).
- Role Already Assiged for: Madam Pauling and Surgeon
The project focuses mainly to recreate Expiration Date but Swapped. So, the VA do not have to sound identical to the main OG TF2 cast. There can be some creative liberties in the voices. For example, Surgeon can could more tired than the energetic Scout.
If you're applying, link your portfolio but also include an clip example or two. Your lines can be made up or from TF2 (Meet the Team or Expiration Date or Game Voice lines) or both! Show me your creativity, the potential only you can bring to these characters. Good Luck!

Looking for 3D Artists!
- Basic Weapon Props Models
- Environments or Basic Map Import ex.) Map import to Unreal
- SFM 3D Imports ex.) Someone who is experienced in SFM Import and the software; would be helpful to know SFM rigging.
- Basic Model Checks ex.) Looking for artifacts within current model.
- Texturing ex.) Normal Maps
- Modeling ex.) A custom head model for The Assistant (Ms.Pauling!Administrator) and High Poly Hands for all the swapped mercs; should know basic retopology.
- Unreal Engine ex.) Someone who knows Unreal Engine Cinematics; should have a high spec computer for the export of Finished Film for the future.

- Environments ex. Design of Surgeon (Medic!Scout) Lab or Medic Room.
- Character Designs for Madam Pauling (The Administrator!Ms.Pauling), The Assistant (Ms.Pauling!The Administrator) and Heavy!Engie.
- Props ex.) Original Stock Weapon designs for the Swapped Mercs.
- Storyboarding ex.) Storyboard for Expiration Date; Should have a basic knowledge on Camera Angles/Movement, Timing, and can follow the finished script.
- Illustrations ex.) Drawing key moments within the Lore Docs like child Arsonist (Pyro!Demo) burning Saint Nick's Workshop.

Looking for creative people who are knowledgeable about TF2:
Beyond the Characters, we are looking for people who know the history of TF2. Someone who knows every fun fact, iceberg, trivia regarding TF2. Since TF2Swap is still TF2, we want to refer to you towards hypotheticals to help us build an accurate and realistic example of what TF2 would be but swapped.
