Greetings! I'm StelerSteel and I make Let's Plays that range in varieties that mostly touch on Nintendo with commentary on top from myself. I recently got interested in voice acting and figured I would try to make it work with a very charming game which will be Let's Play number 13 in counting on my channel.
Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope. Shovel Knight is a platformer based around an 8-bit era drawing influence from games such as Super Mario Brothers 3, Mega Man, Duck Tales, Castlevania and much more early NES games. The game drew such a following that Shovel Knight is even in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as an assist trophy. (Yeah, I wanted him as a playable fighter too, but at least there's always next game) The games chocked full of fantastic dialogue that needs to be read off and that's where I would like to add some voice to these fantastic characters! The game just started out with a simple fantastic gem of a story, but soon evolved over the past 5 years to add on even more addictive content.
Shovel Knight is filled to the brim with characters. A handful don't speak all that much, but have outstanding expression. I ask that you please consider looking through all your options and trying out for as many characters as you wish, with a different interpretation if possible. You don't need to have played Shovel Knight to understand the dialogue. (Heck, a lot of the characters I play as in Smash Bros. I didn't even understand who they were until years later)
This CCC project will be focusing on the main campaign and not Plague of Shadows, Specter of Torment or the soon to come King of Cards. I would like to make a dubbed Let's Play of each of those, but all of them are fantastic in their own sense and deserve to not be crammed into just one series. If you get casted for King Knight, Plague Knight or Specter Knight I'll most likely want you to voice act for their main campaign. I'll be voicing Shovel Knight, commentating along with the gameplay as well as any character that does not get picked. Again, if I see enough try outs for this I'll open more roles. Hopefully that will be the case because this is a very special game to me and many others!
You can pick this game up on a variety of platforms: Xbox, Playstation, Vita, 3DS, Wii U, Switch, and even PC.
I don't exactly know how many are going to try out for this project. If there are more then expected I'll host another CCC with more supporting roles.

I felt like making a voice acted Let's Play really defines the definition of a Let's Play. It allows the audience to get much more involved and show that we're playing this game together making the moment special for all! Anyways, I'm looking forwards to it!
