Telltale's The Walking Dead FANDUB | Casting Wave 1

Project Overview

I'll be doing small amounts for characters for these casting call rounds due to the fact I'm planning on going more "scene by scene" rather than "video by video", if that makes sense! So for now, I'm sticking with the main three of Lee, Clementine, and Kenny (with Katjaa and Duck thrown in to cover smaller roles in the first wave as well)

Kenny has a small chance of being given to a friend of mine who showed interest in voicing him, however I wanted to give the main 3 characters of the series a fair shot for anyone interested enough in auditioning for the project! (Also Kenny seems like he'd be the most fun character to receive auditions from)

I linked this on each of the roles; but here are the recorded videos of Episodes 1-5 (without the in-game voices), for this audition I want you to go through for the characters listed and pick a random scene to practice an impression OR an original voice, I will likely not be writing scripts for this (much like my narration dub of The Letter by YangYang Mobile)

REQUIREMENTS (there's not a lot, I promise)
1. Discord is a must for contact purposes (I've setup a small project server to keep stuff like voice lines and the google drive all in one place for convenience)

2. If you audition for the roles of Clementine and Kenny, and are cast for said roles then please only audition if you're open to potentially reprising said roles if I were to continue this project to the full series :]

And finally 3. If/when the character you audition for dies (or disappears from/leaves the story), you can then audition for another role as long as you're able to give a distinct enough voice to differentiate characters (think Owen Thomas for in-game Omid to in-game Troy), no guarantees on being casted for more than one role, but it could still be possible

  • 2 requests/new rules (+Audition request that just came to mind)

    Hello! Just got a couple notifications that had me wanting to pop in here before I fall asleep, not upset about them or anything but would like to make some clarifications

    First thing is a new 4th rule, that being; Please be 18 or older, it's The Walking Dead, even if Telltale's is relatively tamer than AMC's & Kirkman's comics, it's still an incredibly mature/violent story (also not personally comfy with it)

    Second thing; Please, please, please don't randomly send a friend request on Discord; I will send a friend request to any and all the casted VAs, and I will dismiss auditions of people who send a friend request ahead of being cast

    And third, now that those are out the way, I have a request for (new) auditioners, that being specific scenes per role that I'd prefer to listen too when reviewing submissions!

    Lee & Kenny - Would like to request auditions for these roles to be the Lee vs Kenny scene ("Episode 3 pt2"), seeing as how I recorded the variation where Lee and Kenny both get hits in, it should make for really good auditions :]

    Clementine - This one is a bit unique, but I think my preferred scenes would be her asking to go to Crawford to look for her parents (Episode 4 pt3) and/or defending Ben after he reveals the bandit deal to Kenny and the others (Episode 4 pt4)


    Katjaa - while it's a bit of a heavier scene, I want to request auditions for the scene when her and Kenny discuss what to do about Duck after Lee gets the latter to stop the train (Episode 3 pt2")

    Duck - There's not really a lot of good Duck dialogue for auditions, but I think the best audition would be when he essentially forces Lee to let him help investigate the missing medicine as a makeshift Batman & Robin duo (Episode 3 pt1)

Kenny is easily the best / most complex character of Telltale's The Walking Dead; with Season 1 being pre-recorded, I went with the route of Lee and Kenny being bros, but for your audition feel free to look up more hostile Kenny scenes if you want to see more of him (whether to do an impression or craft your own voice for him)
