Project Overview
Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun (Jibaku Shōnen Hanako-kun)is a Japanese manga series written by Iro and illustrated by Aida. The story follows Nene Yashiro, a first-year high school student fond of occult stories, who ardently desires a boyfriend. For this, she tries to invoke Hanako-San from the toilet. It’s a drama, romance, action series. This is a long term project and we’re aiming to cover the picture perfect arc, far shore arc, aquarium/school fair arc and sacrifice of the grim reaper arc. , please keep that In mind if you get chosen as a reoccurring character. He is rude, cocky, paranoid and obsessed with his camera. Although, Mitsuba is shown to have a more mellow and chilled out side to him, where he has been shown to show people genuine kindness and concern, especially Kou. Behind his cruel childish facade, he is lonely and scared. he doesn't have a clear sense of self and feels as though no one understands him. He grows especially close to Kou Minamoto, as their friendship develops into more of a romantic one. he's very girly and feminine looking, as well as feigns egotistical characteristics. !!THIS CHARACTER IS IMPLIED AND HEAVILY REFERENCED TO BE GAY, PLEASE KNOW THIS BEFORE AUDITIONING!! he has a medium-high pitched shrill voice but drops to a medium pitch when serious. he's loud and rambles often. must be able to cry, scream, show a lot and very little emotion and talk quickly.
(Upset, distraught) I hate it I hate this, all of you should just go away!! How could a ghost like me ever be understood by a human like you!
(Romantic, eerie) Please.. Minamoto-kun I need you. Become a supernatural, and be with me forever. You said that'd be ok didn't you? Please you're all that I have!

While Tsuchigomori seems like a normal, caring and sort-of-meek teacher in his disguise, he is actually sarcastic, mischievous and quite short-tempered. He's also shown to be quite sadistic, having fun in threatening and scaring Nene and Kou he's the keeper of the 4pm library, a library containing the futures and pasts of every person in the school dead or alive. He's the 5th wonder of the school. He's a spider ghost, being seen eating bugs and terrorizing students for fun. he's very important to the plot, being someone Hanako looks up to. At the end of the day this man is literally just a tired and grumpy old man. He is currently Kou's homeroom teacher and was previously Hanako's homeroom teacher before he died. As his teacher, he cared for Hanako viewing him almost as a son and was deeply affected when he died. His voice should be low, intense, intimidating and sarcastic.
(solemn) No matter how much you regret or wish, If you couldn't do something in life you cannot do it in death.
(Mischievous, sinister) Well, perhaps i'll consider letting you go with just a warning. If you tell me your deepest darkest secrets of course.

Shijima is the 4th wonder of the school, an artist ghost who traps people in her paintings. She even creates a clone of herself to protect the fragmenting identity she has left after death. Shijima is protective and loyal towards the real Mei, having been created by her likeness' hope to live until tomorrow. As a result, she is devastated by her rumor and her inability to change her original's fate. Her death had been changed to make it appear as if she committed suicide. She values art above all else. Shijima at first glance appears to be childish and cheerful, always smiling. She is also empathetic, offering to comfort Nene during her capture. She can be quite off in space at times as well, getting lost in thought. she should have a medium-high feminine voice, a tad nerdy? if that makes sense? more forward placed but not quite shrill.
(aloof, quiet) Reality is often times crushing.. I close my eyes so that I can dream. so that I can make up a reality in which i can live in.
(upset, distraught) I didn't- kill myself!! I didn't want to die! I was sick, I would never ever have done that! why are people so cruel!!
(content, apologetic, excited,sinister) I'm sorry. I can't let you go right now, Doctors orders ya know? But hey! Enjoy yourself, I designed this world to have everything you could ever want.
No.6 is, the God of Death. His Boundary, which lies below the school, is the closest one to the Far Shore. His yorishiro is a girl named Sumire, an ancestor of Aoi who he guarded until she was sacrificed. While not outright malicious for the most part, he has been known to go to extreme measures when preventing supernaturals from attacking humans, best shown after he kidnapped Aoi and used her as a sacrifice for so (believing that by offering a human's soul and blood, he can prevent the rogue supernaturals from entering his boundary. He is cold and uncaring rarely showing any strong emotion, his voice is low and monotone unless specifically directed to be otherwise. He twistedly falls for Sumire, although he makes it clear that he is not able to feel love in a traditional sense. It is, apparently, too foreign an emotion for a demon, and even more so for a demon that lacks desire like he does.She awoke something within him, a human like desire. causing him to devour her before she was able to be sacrificed, cursing the lands.
(monotone, robotic) I am to be your husband Sumire yes, I am obliged to protect you.
(confused, somber) She's going to die anyways.. what's the harm in, engaging with her a little
(soft, gentle) Now then, will you give yourself to me? ... (pause) Then, i'll do as I like.
