TALES OF AVAXIS: YEARN (audiobook adaptation)
Project Overview
Hello people of casting call club! this may be the last CCC page i will ever make due to this project being the most definitive thing i have ever made in my entire online life.
This is Tales of Avaxis: Yearn. it is a novel of mine that i have put a lot of hard work into writing. so i'm deciding to fully bring it to love in audiobook form.
i will be doing narration myself, however i am not a good enough voice actors to voice every character in this expansive world i have created. so i'm hoping to get VAs for these characters that have existed for... nearly a decade.
the project itself has been inspired by nearly every piece of media i've consumed over the course of my life from creepypastas, to sonic the hedgehog, to shonen anime, to mascot horror, to even films like coraline or nightmare before christmas that i obsessed over as a child.
all of the story has be written, 7 chapters with 30 pages to each. i hope to meet a lot of cool people and get to FINALLY bring this project to life after so many attempts!
i would also like to state that this project will not be for profit. i dont have the means to pay people, thus it would be unfair if i promised payment i cannot give.

a guilt ridden wolf who's lifespan is determined by the number of people he kills due to a demonic curse. this is the main character of the story. i imagine his voice to be deep and serious, but not too deep.
I'm being very vague since i like seeing varied takes on character voices!

Miko for short, is a timid fox girl originally from a rich household. she sees the good in everyone... to her own detriment. I imagine her to be timid, slightly high pitched but nothin too annoying.

Shrai is a chill chameleon that is a bit too chill at times. he isn't incapable of feeling emotion, he just expresses emotion in a different way than others. he has a horrible sense of fashion, mostly because he just doesnt care how he looks.

an akuma demon from the depths of hell. the reason Nehken has his curse, and is overall a massive asshole. he is the textbook definition of chaotic evil.
i imagine his voice to be reminiscent of broadway Beetlejuice, but i'm open to anything.

The best detective on Avaxis, or thats at least what he calls himself. he himself has crack cases that the police force had gotten stumped by. however, his greatest achievement is going to be taking down the infamous "reaper", or as you know him, Nehken. hes an undead raven so i imagine him to be a little raspy.

the royal figure of a dynasty within one of the catalyst isles. she is very noble, honest, and very polite.

an entity that is basically the embodiment of plant abuse. it is imbued with a magic axe, and is very, very angry twenty-four seven.
if you choose this role. be aware that you wont have too many lines... but a lot of them will be screaming. however it doesn't always scream, try and figure something out for the calm voice too.

a tragic deer man made of wood. the soul of a man who yearns of a familial bond, yet doesnt have anyone. he is entirely isolated, alone. at least until the group finds him.

the main antagonist. the head of Catalyst INC., creator of the blades of desire, and very self absorbed. this lizard has much to his name, being alive for millennia will do that to someone.

do you know who you're dealing with? hahahaha! of course you don't.
I've always wanted to have custom music for TOA. there have actually been times where I've tried to conceptualize this series as a musical (with less than stellar results)
i wouldn't say the compositions themselves would be a part of the series entirely. more like supplementary stuff like character themes, songs based on parts of the story, stuff like that. i have always been inspired by nerdcore music to make this series. I always listen to music when working on stuff like art and character designs.
that being said, this role isn't exactly necessary. its more of luxury that i could go without if needed. still, having it would be nice!
