Tales From The Aether is an anthology podcast where each season features a new, original fairy tale for modern-day audiences.
ABOUT
Season one is called The Witch of Rockwood Cove and although never disclosed, the series is implied to take place in New England before the Salem witch trials and somewhat recently after these pilgrims have settled the town. The story follows Kyna, a migrant witch who aims to stop the spread of rye ergot in the town of Rockwood Cove. Rye ergot is a blight hypothesized to be the cause of the visions and convulsions these “witches” were experiencing during the Salem witch trials.
This season does not include swearing or sex. It does include some violence and a same-sex relationship between Daisy and the main character, Kyna.

Daisy is a bubbly, charismatic innkeeper who falls in love with the main character, Kyna. The more time progresses in the story, the darker the situation surrounding this character gets and the more she finds the bravery to step out of her comfort zone to save the woman she loves.

Judge Peters sees himself as a good, moral person, however, as the season progresses, his temper and jealousy continuously slip beyond his control. When he sets his sights on something he wants, he'll do what it takes to have things go his way.

Minister Hughes is a curious and principled man of honor who wants to see the good in everybody but eventually turns to distrust and fear.

Grace is a desperate widow hanging on to her livelihood by a thread now that she's left to run her husband’s farm. She'll do anything for her children, and as the series goes on, this becomes a source of fear for Grace in trying to protect them from what she sees as evil.
