Talent Island Casting Call
Project Overview
Talent Island is a series where contestants show their talents and try to be the last one standing and win the grand prize.
Talent Island is meant to be a series inspired by Total Drama/Disventure Camp/Reality Resort/Exotic Escapade and more. A Reality Show but as an Animated Series. The main objective of the series is to be more soft. A bit less drama compared to other series and more based on the relation between the characters, their friendships, rivalries, their stories and lifes!
Welcome to the casting call for ‘Talent Island’! Well if you don’t know, for short background information, 18 competitors have signed up to play this game, to either win a prize worth of cash, make new friends, or even to find more than that! Now don’t be fooled, the game may seem simple at first glance but the more days that pass by, the more competitive it gets! Be careful now, this competition can become seriously hard the more players progress through the game. Who will win? Who will play right or wrong? Who knows? It’s for us to know and for you to find out, only on Talent Island!
⚠️: A reminder that each character won’t exactly be based on alphabetical order or the released date, each line that was made would most likely not be apart of the script, and please be mindful that ‘Talent Island’ is not related to any other character from other TD fan-made series (Such as Disventure Camp, Reality Resort, etc…).
Before you audition, here are some rules and guidelines you need to follow. The ‘Talent Island’ team would please like for you to read each line thoroughly before auditioning.

You must have a clear enough recording and (ideally) a decent microphone for your audition to be considered. Auditions with background noise that greatly interferes with the audition lines (mild background noise is okay) will be automatically rejected.
You must be of or over the age of thirteen by the time auditions close. Communication amongst team members will mainly be done via Discord, which requires users to be of or over the age of thirteen.
Auditions will close on November 15th. You may not audition for the show after the deadline unless there is a valid reason for you to do so (ex. Being sick, being on vacation, etc.).
Some (but not all) of the auditions have voice claims. It is recommended that you do a loose impression of the voice claim, not an exact one.
Don’t interfere with the casting process. Any begging, threats, form of harassment, guilt-tripping, bribing and anything that resolves in danger, chaos or drama in attempts to get casted will get your audition automatically rejected, as you will also be put onto a blacklist. Please do not mess with us.
Do not send in multiple auditions for one character (ex. Three separate auditions for Molly) unless intending to delete previous auditions. This makes the process of picking voice actors longer for the team. If this is still done, your most recent audition will be taken into consideration.
You can take up to three takes per line. (One or two is preferred) Recording more line takes than permitted will slow down the casting process and will greatly decrease your chances of getting casted.
Make sure to comment regarding your audition format. It is preferred that your auditions are recorded in ABC, AABBCC, or AAABBBCCC format.
The max amount of characters you can audition for is six. It is strongly recommended that you audition for characters within your vocal range to preserve your vocals and to also audition for a reasonable amount of characters in case you are casted for multiple roles.
If you are casted, you are expected to behave in an appropriate manner when you do get accepted, be able to send your lines in on time (unless there are valid reasons you can’t do so during that time frame), and keep confidentiality. If you don’t think you can do this, please refrain from auditioning, as you will most likely get replaced by your backup if you do get casted.
After casting choices have been made, please don’t harass or slander the voice actors who have gotten casted for the reason of being casted. There may be more voice acting opportunities in the future coming from this project, and doing this will automatically get all of your future auditions for this project rejected (you will also be put onto a blacklist).
Do NOT send your auditions through BOTH Casting Call Club and Google Forms. Choose one medium to send your auditions in through, as sending your auditions in through both will make the casting process much slower.
If you are casted as one of the VA’s for this project, but decide to step away from the last minute opportunity due to personal issues or other reasons, you are more than welcome to, as it is your choice to tell us if you need to. The Talent Island team will understand if you are not willing to do it anymore or you’re not comfortable with it (but please contact the staff members IMMEDIATELY before anything big happens). The character that you were assigned with, will then be replaced by the runner up.
Even if you don’t feel like your audition is going to be accepted, still audition anyways! You’ll never know!
Answers to Potential Questions:Q: Is there going to be any dubbing in different languages for this show? (A: Currently there are no plans to dub the show in any other language besides English. There may be plans to do so in the future, but not now.)
Q: Are translator positions open on this show? (A: Look at question one. Since there are no plans to dub the show in any language other than English right now, translators are not needed)
Q: I wanted to audition for a different position for this show. (ex. Audio Designer, Animator, Character Rigging) Where can I do that? (A: You can join Talent Island’s Discord server here: and DM rffadsartoninsta. Currently, Asset Designers, Background Designers, and Animators are needed.)
Choose the character(s) you want to audition for (The max amount of characters you can audition for is six, which is stated in rule no. 9)
Record your audio (It’s recommended that you do this in a quiet space with minimal background noise)
Save your audio as an audio file (ex. .MP3, .wav)
Rename your file with your username and character you auditioned for (ex. celuceru_molly.MP3)
Repeat until you record auditions for all of the characters you want to audition for
If sending auditions in via Google Forms: upload all your audition files in the section of the form that tells you to do so
If sending auditions in via Casting Call Club: upload each audition under its designated character (ex. Send your Albert audition under the Albert section on the casting call)
Side Note: It doesn’t matter if you send in your auditions via Google Forms or Casting Call Club; auditioning through Casting Call Club doesn’t guarantee you have a higher chance of getting casted and the same applies for auditioning through Google Forms.
Side Note Two: You may also be casted as a backup just in case the main voice actor leaves the project! You just need to indicate that you are interested in being one! (Stated in rule no. 13)
