Project Overview
Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by. I'll try to make this short and concise.
About me:
• I'm a full-time voice actor. I have 20+ years of experience in acting, directing, producing, and teaching. This is not boasting - it simply means things are going to get done.
Project status:
• Manga pages are ready to go. Discord is organized and ready to receive actors. All that remains is a cast of voice actors and we're ready to begin production.
Requirements:
• You must be an actor.
• You must be able to take direction.
• You must be able to produce high-quality audio in 24-bit 48kHz mono wav.
• If you're incapable of those things, you must be willing to learn, experiment, and try.
• Have discord.
• Be professional - in your conduct, performance, and commitment.
Don't let the above intimidate you - again, it just means that I'm a professional who knows what he's doing and that things will get done.
How many projects have you been involved in that fizzled into nothingness only after a week? That will not happen here.

Tsumugi is a young girl who is kind, innocent, and is starting to learn about the world in which she lives. She unconditionally loves her dad and lives her life free of worries and troubles - partly because of her age and naïveté, but partly because she's simply a vibrant, positive, and optimistic person.
Looking for an actor who can really express emotions with her voice for this role.
Direction: It's 6am. Daddy is still sleeping and you're going to ENERGETICALLY wake him up. I'd like to hear the happy/positive personality of Tsumugi in your vibrant LOUD voice.
(inhale) MORNING DADDY!Direction: This is possibly the worst thing that could happen. Again, in overflowing energy, but not negativity or cynicism:
Daddy! I can't find my pink Magi-Girl outfit! (pronounce - "Magi" like "Magnet")Direction: A sense of wonder, genuine innocence and naiveté... impressed by the food you see on TV. Then, a genuine desire to really want to eat it.
Wow! That looks so good! Daddy... Send a letter to Mommy and tell her to make this!
Kotori is a young girl who is not very confident in her abilities as well as her own self. She's unsure of many things - her future, her cooking, her emotions. Through this encounter, she will not only become a better cook, but will gain confidence to be who she wants to be.
Looking for an actor who can express vulnerability in a character.
Direction: Deadpan. Statement that is matter-of-fact. Yet, I'd like to hear a "I've been crying for the past 30 minutes and have just calmed down" tone in your voice.
...I'm crying because this food is delicious.Direction: Frustration and confusion. Say the line LOUDLY in a SMALL VOICE into the phone and do not let the other people hear you. Quick-paced and should feel improvised.
Ugh, Mommm! Why don't donabe have the marks on the inside for rice cooking?! I tried to be cool and said I could make it! What's a cup?! How much is it?! If you hear this message, please give me a call! (pronounce "donabe" - DOnabeh)Direction: Timid and hesitating at first - not sure if this appropriate, but slowly building and eventually bursting out, as you can't hold it in anymore. Notice all the pauses - use them, please.
I'm... I'm going to be... ... eating dinner alone most of the time from now on. So... Would you eat with me? Sensei! Could we cook and eat together?
Tsumugi's mom passed away not too long ago. This scene is a brief moment where Kouhei fondly remembers his wife and what she used to say. Young Adult - to - Middle Age range, I'd say.

Kouhei-san! Dinner's ready!(half-joking, lightly)
But you never eat anything!(with a gentle mom-smile)

Male teacher is a colleague of Kohei. He's a reoccurring character that shows up from time to time. Energetic, friendly, and loud - but can be strict and professional. I'd say Young Adult to Middle Age.
(throwing the door open, suddenly entering the room - a sense of urgency)
Inuzuka-sensei! Morning!(concerned about Kohei, but overlaid with a joke, while suddenly pulling Kohei's shirt up to expose his belly)
Look how thin he's getting, though! I think we need to feed him something.
Magi-Girl is Tsumugi's favorite cartoon character. She will make seldom appearances throughout the manga and I'd really love it if you'd be available for these lines periodically. Play it like a superhero - she's magical, cute, and powerful.
